The Regimen success stories

Dear Dan,
I am writing to you, four days in, and I just wanted to tell you that your regimine has given me results that I have never had; especially in such a short amount of time.

I suffered with mild acne during my teen years and had cystic acne in my early twenties, on my face and on my back. I am currently 36, and have tried just about everything. I did two rounds of accutane; first with excellent results and then about six years later with so-so results. During the hurricane, (fortunately, I live in an area that wasn't affected with power loss - but I was landlocked), I watched endless youtube videos about make-up and one girl mentioned your product. I came to your website and realized that I had used many of the products you suggest (specifically benxoylperoxide and cethaphil) but not like how described. I recalled the benzoyl wash that cleared my back acne prior to my first accutane treatment and wondered why it hadn't worked for my face. However, the accutance did, but didnt prevent the years of acne breakouts that followed, even after my second round.

I went out to get cethaphil, neutrogena on-the-spot tx, oil of olay moisturizer and jojoba oil and began the regimine and let me tell you (what you already know) MY SKIN HAS NEVER LOOKED THIS CLEAR!!!! and I have every faith that in the next few months it will not only get clearer, but the break outs will cease. I intend to order your alphahydroxide and your gel bp.

Currently, I don't have any flaking, but my face is a little itchy and I am making a concious effort to stop touching my face. I never thought I could use a moisturizer everyday, especially twice a day; but so far, so GREAT. I wish I knew about this fifteen years ago but glad I know about it now.

I've only been on the Regimen for a couple of days but my skin is already clearing up and in the best shape that it's been in for a long time. After recently being sucked in by the advice of a beautician and spending hundreds of dollars on expensive skin care products that only irritated my skin, I'm so glad I found the Regimen. The lesson I've learnt is that big brands will disappoint, and that simplicity appears to be the key when it comes to success with acne. I've been using benzoyl peroxide for some time, but realised through your advice that I haven't been using enough of it. Now that I've increased the amount I use, the condition of my acne has drastically improved. I'm so happy!

You guys are amazing! I can't tell you how much this site, your products, and the Regimen have changed my life. I had tried everything over the counter and many prescribed treatments, and nothing ever worked for me until I began using this regimen. My acne struggles began when I was 13. I am now 25 and, for the first time since childhood, I have clear skin. The thing that's so amazing about this site is that you not only tell people what products to use--you give specific instructions about how to use them. You tell people basic dos and don't for keeping your skin clear--for example, the tips on how to shave properly when you struggle with acne. I never had any dermitologist tell me how to shave in a way that keeps my skin from flaring up. Another example is your advice not to use any type of harsh scrubs (or the like) because they do nothing more than just flare up any existing acne that you have. Nobody ever told me that until I came to this site. I'm now convinced that part of my problem for so many years was using products that were way too harsh and just aggrivated the acne that I had. It is so helpful to hear from others on this site who have had the same problems and stuggles that you've had. I could go on and on about how you guys have given me more helpful practical advice for keeping my skin clear than any dermitologist ever has, but I'd be writing for a while to list all the examples. I am pretty sure that most any acne sufferer could come on this site, follow the regimen steps precisely, and come away with clear skin. I can tell you that I struggled with acne about as much as anybody that I know, and it worked for me when nothing else ever would. I am so greatful to y'all that I felt compelled to write this message just letting you know what great work you do and how much you have directly impacted my life and many others as well, I'm sure. I cannot thank you enough!

Dan- Thank you, thank you, a thousand times THANK YOU for developing such a miraculous product and keeping up this website. I am 20 years old, and started getting mild acne when I was about 14. At one point a cluster of acne formed in the middle of my chin and my mom took me to the dermatologist to get it checked out. The doctor ended up injecting my chin with LIQUID NITROGEN and I still have the scars today from it (though they are much less noticeable than they used to be). I've used BP in the past, but I was also using the over-the-counter equivalent of Retin-A Micro at the time, so maybe that's why the results were average. I then used Salicylic Acid for a while, but I still got some acne. I became very self-conscious about my acne and used makeup to cover it up every day for years. It was December of 2005 when I realized that it was more than a little problem. I started breaking out really badly (on my chin especially) and I was so frustrated that I would sometimes cry about it (I know, poor me). So one day I googled "acne" to see what would come up, and the first hit was this website. After seeing all the success stories, I was convinced that it would work better than what I had been using. I ordered the BP gel and from the first day I used it, my acne got better. I did notice a little redness and itchiness after swimming or showering but I reduced the amount I use and I shower at night to help with that. The point is that my face has been completely clear since around September!!! I still remember the first morning I realized I didn't need to apply any makeup before I left. It is so great to get up in the morning and be excited to look in the mirror instead of apprehensive. Also, I have been using BP gel on my chest and back at night (with a white shirt to avoid bleaching) for the past 2 weeks. Now they are both clear too! Dan, I applaud you for giving people the tools to clear up their skin and feel more confident about themselves.

Thanks so much for your advice. I'm in my mid 30's and have struggled with my skin since high school. My acne has never been severe, but it has been regular and annoying enough to be a constant source of irritation (and self-consciousness). Your program works!

I started using the 2.5% Neutrogena On the Spot (just until your product arrived), and it dried my skin. The Eurecin cleanser is good, but their moisturizer is not so good. Once your product arrived, I started using it and replaced the moisturizer with Aveeno Ultra-Calming lotion. Now, no redness, no flaking, and best of all, no acne. Thanks Dan. You are my hero.

i would just love to say thank you so much for all you do! You really deserve it. I started getting acne my freshman year of college and have tried everything( ProActiv, Exposed, supplement pills, every face cream at the drug store) the past 6 years. I have very sensitive skin and was to the point that i had 2 options: slight acne with a rash from the chemicals, or moderate acne and no rash. wasn't a big fan of the rash so needless to say i have had the moderate acne for about 2 years and just grew to having it as part of my life. until the patients at work, im a nurse, started commenting about it and i started trying more products again without success. i stumbled on your website and was skeptical but thought why not atleast the products were fragrance and dye free and i wasn't going to get a rash. i've been using the produts for 3 days and my acne of 6 years is almost clear and my face feels great. my co-workers and patients have noticed the remarkable change. i just sing your praises. please keep up the great work your a life saver.

I am 63 years old and started suffering from adult acne about 4 years ago. It got progressively worse over the years. Several visits to the Dermatologist had me using various remedies such as anti-biotic, washing my face with Hibiclense (anti-bacterial soap), Altabax, Gentamicin Sulfate Ointment, and Triamcinolone Acetonide Cream.

I've suffered from acne for approximately six years - starting from the beginning of middle school and throughout most of high school.
