I am a 37 year old female with mild acne. For the longest, I have had a regimen of my own: facial scrub, toner, benzoyl peroxide, moisturizer. However, my acne kept coming back. It seemed like I had run into a brick wall, since I was doing everything to exfoliate and take care of my skin. Then I came across your website. I found out the fault with my plan. I was simply not using as much BP as you suggested. Moreover, I was not applying it properly. I just dabbed it all over my face and then randomly rubbed it in. I decided to try your regiment with the cetaphil cleanser, neutrogena on the spot, and a hypoallergenic facial moisturizer about 2 months ago. I had my doubts that this would make my cystic acne go away, but I am amazed to tell you that after month 1, my cystic acne COMPLETELY vanished and my face is beautifully clear. So much so that I haven't wore makeup all this week!
In the past I have tried everything, including the popular Proactive which worked for a while, but it seemed my skin developed an immunity to it and I broke out again worse than before, which left me searching for a new solution.
I hadn't always had cystic acne, but since I have been put on medication for migraines my skin went crazy and nothing would stop it. I was embarrassed to talk to anyone, but your regiment has saved my skin! thank you so much. love this website!

Whoa, this thing actually worked. Ive been suffering through acne for a long time and no matter what I did I could never get it to clear up or anything but after I started doing this, after the first 4 or 5 days my skin was almost clear.

dan- my story isn't much different from anyone else's, but i nonetheless wanted to say thank you for sharing this regimen. i'm a 17 yr old female and have been dealing with acne since age 12. i have tried proactiv, benzaclin, tetracyclin, minocyclin, differin, clyndamycin, and various over the counter products. my acne has never been severe, but persistent enough to really be discouraging. after reading your site, i decided to give it a try since my skin is pretty much industrial strength and i decided to jump right in with almost full amounts of BP. within literally 2 days my skin had cleared significantly, and after a week the blemishes were 95% gone. i really want to encourage anyone who is skeptical to give it a try, and just thank you again, dan, for your great work.

My name is Loryn, and I am 21 years old. I hit puberty fairly early, at around 12 years of age. Following that, I got very little acne simply on my forehead, never anywhere else. I figured that was a problem with me not washing my face properly, so would wash faithfully, and was happy to say that the acne had disappeared. At around 16 years old, I would get a few pimples here and there, but nothing really serious. I simply washed my face once a day, and would be on my way without worrying about the few pimples I had, makeup usually covered them up well and didn't cause anymore acne. However, at about 18 years old, that is when I started getting more acne. Generally around the temples, and in various odd places. I would count at least 5 pimples per day, which was rather frustrating. Sadly, it only got worse with time, and by the time I hit 20, my cheeks were constantly broken out. I would wake up and see a new pimple. I purchased proactiv at around 40.00 which was rather expensive, but I figured if it would clear me up, it was worth it. It did a fine job for about the first week, but then stopped working well, irritated my skin quite a bit, caused a lot of redness and peeling, etc. Finally, I found your regimen. I purchased it asap. Upon receiving it, I immediately used it and it made my skin feel great. The next day, my acne was already clearing up nicely. Within a few days, my skin was VERY smooth, with simply red marks left behind. I decided to test it out, and quit the regimen for a couple of days. By that time, I had 4 new pimples forming...I used the regimen again after that, and those 4 pimples began to clear amazingly quick. The conclusion I came up with is the regimen definitely works for me, and I am thrilled with the results even after a short time on the regimen. I would definitely recommend that people try this! Just wanted to take a moment and say thanks for taking the time to put this info out there (nice clean web design as well.... good stuff).

I've had moderate problems since as long as I can remember, and nothing really worked. I always figured I might outgrow it, but that didn't happen either. It was kinda an evolving process over the last 10 years as I learned a few things by trial and error, but it was your site here that finally gave me something concrete and unbiased to really roll with... and, well, it's been 8 months or so, and it indeed works.

I was a bit skeptical at first as things did indeed get worse before getting better, but I've heard this is common, and carried on. After about a month things turned around, and no problems since then.

I am 24 and after 9 years of acne I almost gave up all my hope! But then I accidently clicked onto your website and though I should give it a go.

Now after 10 months of your regime I am almost clear! Of course I get the occasional spot every now and then but that's ok. Especially during the winter my chin used to be very bad and I was afraid that the acne might return this winter as well but so far it is all good. I reckon that I’ve finally overcome the times of acne and demoralizing sessions in front of the mirror.

"Beauty is only skin deep" - those are the words that I used to comfort myself when my face was breaking out like crazy in my early 20's.
