The Regimen success stories

Well just wanted to let you guys know I am finally Acne Free! No more at all! I always got the occasional pimple and such, but when I started training and working out intensely I just started breaking out like crazy. So of course I went out and tried all the designer products, cause why wouldn't the expensive stuff work? Well it didn't, go figure. Then I came upon your site, started the regimen, but had no luck at first. I was still breaking out. I stuck with it for about 2 solid months, following it to a T. Then my brother decided to talk to me and give me some advice with his personal experience. He said he found he didn't need to use a moisturizer, our faces produce enough natural oil I guess. So I quit using the moisturizer but still followed the regimen for the rest of the cleanser and BP. Sure enough, I cleared up in about 9 days. So maybe other's will be able to benefit by not using a moisturizer. Anyways, thanks for the great products, I'm so happy to find something that finally worked!

Dan, you ARE my hero. Ok, my success story is VERY different to some on here. The thing different was that I used 10% Benzoyl Peroxide, and it did the trick. My mom bought me 10% and not 2.5% (partly my fault for not telling her) so I just used it. And, wouldn't you know it, it worked!!! I started getting acne when I was about 13-14. I didn't think much of it, just a small pimple that went away in 1-2 days. But once I turned 15, I was hit hard (for my acne type). I have very light acne, and I was NEVER ashamed of it, because I know there aer people out there who would give anything for my skin, and I feel very fortunate. I found this site, and it and it was like a weight had been lifted. I got my supplies, and I was clear within 2 weeks.

The 10% Benzoyl Peroxide has a little different timeline, so I will post it here.

Week 1: Some improvement at the start of the week, but a break out shows up at the end of the week. Break out clears very quickly.

Week 2: For me, CLEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WEll, i have a lot to say. after seeing your website about 3 months ago i was pretty impressed. then i started to seach more about your regimen. not much to be found out there. so i said what the hell ill order some. after going from proactiv to differn (1 year) to proactiv again to many other over the counter items i was willing to try anything!!! After a good 3 weeks on the regimen the number of zits started to go away. and then over about 10 weeks they stopped. no more zits!! Dan its the best feeling in the world not to have to worry about waking up with a new zit to add to those that are already there. I feel i can walk and talk to people with out fear anymore. And now anytime i see someone with acne i just want to tell them about your regimen so their lifes can also be changed

I just wanted to thank you for sharing your information with us. I'm 21, and when my younger brother turned 19, he got very bad acne on his face (I guess he was a late-bloomer). After researching treatments and reading acne.org, I had him try out the Clear Skin Regimen. After following the instructions exactly, one month later and he was completely free of acne! I had acne too (although not as bad as my brother's), and after seeing his success with the CSR, I tried it out as well. My occasional breakouts are gone! While we started the regimen with products from the local drugstore, we now buy the BP off of clearskinregimen.org and it is a great product. Just a thank you for your website and concern. Last year, my 12 yr-old son had begun to suffer with mild acne. It was beginning to progress with each month that went by. After trying prescription medicine and OTC acne products,with no success, I found your website. The success stories gave me confidence to have my son try out your products.
It took a full three months (even though his acne was mild it was resistant), but his skin is now basically clear. What a difference! He is a very happy teenager now.
I want to encourage new members to persevere with the products. My son had difficulty at first seeing results and keeping exactly to the regimen. He had some setbacks learning what would work for him, but I encouraged him to not give up. Family and friends are now complimenting him on how clear his skin looks.

I just have to write and tell you how happy I am about your regimen. At 42, I still struggled with acne though my dermatologist told me it was rosacea. I have had bad acne since the age of 14 and tried everything including Accutane-that gave me six months without acne. But it always came back. I have used both mild soaps and benzoylperoxid but not in the way you describe. And of course I have been using strong cleansers that just irritated my face, chest and back. And when the doctor told me it was rosacea I just tried the metronidazol creams and everything went worse.Keep on with your treatment said the doc but I got very sad and depressed because I saw no improvements whatsoever. I have a wonderful man and our great kids and nice friends but still all these cysts and acne really put me down. During my pregnacies my skin was totally clear but I couldn't use birthcontrolpills. So this hell with skin was my life and put me under stress because of work comittements and all social gatherings where everyone was so nicelooking and me looking like a teenager... I have read all the stories you all have sent and it was after your letters I decided to give it a try. To my biggest surprise it really works! The thing is mild cleansing, a lot mild benzoylperoxid and then soothe the skin with moisturizer-I have been using all the products but not like this and here is the answer. I am a 26 year old Asian male who had suffered from acne for 15 years. It is with great happiness that I share this amazing acne clearing experience with you. Thanks to Dan and his regime.

Subsequent to mild acne since 11, I started having very severe breakouts from 13 or 14. I was on accutane for about five years on and off, three months being the longest interval. During the course of medication, my acne built up its tolerance against accutane all the way up to 80mg/day. At the time, I was 17 weighing around 135lb.

Unfortunately, moderate acne gradually returned about a year after I went off the pills. Being emotional and desperate, I tried just about everything available for treatment. It was literally a dead end for me. I couldn’t find anything effective. My face burned, itched, and flaked. I always had at least ten pustules with multiple red/brown spots….and severe white and black heads.

One day, I tumbled on Dan’s website and learned about his regimen. Always searching for ways to make my skin better, his unique routine caught my attention. I studied the regimen closely, including his shaving guidelines, and decided to give it a try with his 2.5% BP at first.

Amazingly, a dramatic change came just within days. I experienced a moderate level of burning, itching, and peeling for the first 10 days. Thereafter, pustule and red/brown spots completely vanished by the end of second week. Whiteheads significantly lessened as well.

I'm thirty seven years old and have struggled against the embarrassment of acne and the expense of acne treatment since high school. I have quite literally tried every kit, both high end and drugstore, every natural oil and mud based product, every clay, every combination of drugstore stand alone product, every pill and panacea, and spent an unnamed but certainly obscene amount of money experimenting on treating this problem. The worst experiment was Retin-A, about which I was so optimistic, but which left me with red, dried up, hard on the surface cystic acne and permanent scars. I am now on your regimen for about two months and my skin is clearer and calmer than it has been EVER, even through two menstrual cycles (a biggie for us gals). I am using Cetaphil cleanser, the Neutrogena Healthy Skin Moisturizer with AHA, and the Neutrogena 2.5% BP On The Spot Treatment Cream. That's it. Twice a day every day. Now my skin isn't perfect, but it's loads better than it ever was. I thank you from the bottom of my heart, and so does my husband because I'm not spending scads of money on new and generally ineffective product. You're a Godsend.
