The Regimen success stories

Hi Dan - It was one week ago today that I stumbled upon your website. As I read about your regimen, I grew skeptical of the large doses of BP - I have very sensitive skin, and I could just picture the chaffing and peeling around the corners of my lips and on my chin. But, at the age of 20, I am ready to finally shed the acne which plagues my cheeks, chin & neck for good. I have always used a gentle cleanser & moisturizer, but a week ago I started adding the on-the-spot cream to my twice daily routine. WOW! I haven't had a new breakout since day 1 of the regimen and my skin has become at least 60% clearer. My skin tone is more even, and not nearly as dry as I had expected - no peeling or anything. Nothing else, prescription or otherwise, has had such a dramatic effect on my skin so quickly. Perhaps I am being optimistic, after all it's only been a week, but I have a very good feeling about your regimen. I NEVER had acne growing up. Not even through my horrid teenage years did I ever get more than one or 2 blemishes at a time. This is why I became so upset when I started getting so many blemishes on my forehead and cheeks after I turned 30. I had a cousin that went to a Dermatologist for years to try to get rid of her impossible acne and I became so upset at the thought of the time and money and chemicals that she spent trying to clear her skin.
After about 3 weeks of my face continuing to break out I finally turned to the internet. I did only ONE internet search and your web site was the top one. I read it and decided that something so simple was worth a try. If it didn't work I could always try something more complex.
I was really hesitant about starting the benzoyl peroxide because I wasn't sure if I would end up having a red face like I had read about. I work at a High School and I am right in front of those teenage darlings all day and I didn't need to give them any ammo to try to tease me. I waited and waited and finally 4 days into our Winter Break I decided to go for it. Fortunately I didn't have any such reaction and was able to up the amount rather quickly.
Here I am only 12 days since starting the regimen and I am almost completely blemish free. I could not be any happier. Thank you so much for making all this information easy to access and use.

I have suffered from mild/moderate adult onset acne for the last 7 years. I was able to suppress it with birth control and oral antibiotics, but I didn't like taking either of those (birth control made me fat, and you can't drink when you're on antibiotics -- and I do live in Vegas, after all!).

I do a lot of modeling, and it was very stressful for me to have to worry about my skin breaking out before a job. So one day, in gloomy desperation, I googled "acne cures" and found your site. I tried it out, followed the regimen **faithfully** (even when stumbling home drunk at 2 in the morning, I still put on the treatment slooooowwwwwly) for 8 weeks, and I am pretty much acne-free! Sure, I bleached the hell out of my pillow cases and hand towels, and my skin is drier with a few new wrinkles that weren't there before... and sure, it takes me 30 minutes to get ready for bed at night...but overall, it's worth it! I expect to continue using the treatment at night, and the AHA in the morning, and hopefully that'll keep my acne at bay.

I love that you created this website more or less altruistically, and that you don't insist that people buy your products. But what I really love is that you figured out a system that actually works!! You are my hero, Dan!!

You guys are amazing! I can't tell you how much this site, your products, and the Regimen have changed my life. I had tried everything over the counter and many prescribed treatments, and nothing ever worked for me until I began using this regimen. My acne struggles began when I was 13. I am now 25 and, for the first time since childhood, I have clear skin. The thing that's so amazing about this site is that you not only tell people what products to use--you give specific instructions about how to use them. You tell people basic dos and don't for keeping your skin clear--for example, the tips on how to shave properly when you struggle with acne. I never had any dermitologist tell me how to shave in a way that keeps my skin from flaring up. Another example is your advice not to use any type of harsh scrubs (or the like) because they do nothing more than just flare up any existing acne that you have. Nobody ever told me that until I came to this site. I'm now convinced that part of my problem for so many years was using products that were way too harsh and just aggrivated the acne that I had. It is so helpful to hear from others on this site who have had the same problems and stuggles that you've had. I could go on and on about how you guys have given me more helpful practical advice for keeping my skin clear than any dermitologist ever has, but I'd be writing for a while to list all the examples. I am pretty sure that most any acne sufferer could come on this site, follow the regimen steps precisely, and come away with clear skin. I can tell you that I struggled with acne about as much as anybody that I know, and it worked for me when nothing else ever would. I am so greatful to y'all that I felt compelled to write this message just letting you know what great work you do and how much you have directly impacted my life and many others as well, I'm sure. I cannot thank you enough!

I just wanted to post and say that this has been a gift from God. Although my acne is far from clear, it's coming along very well. When I started the Regimen, my skin was pimpled, and bright red. The acne really stood out, and I don't use make-up; so it was really embarrassing. I stumbled upon this website. Since starting the Regimen, my redness has mostly disappeared, although my acne is still here, it's less noticeable and rapidly disappearing. Thanks sooo much for changing my life!

I was reading over your success stories, and of course, I am unlike all the others. I am now 30 years old and never had acne until about 3 or 4 years ago. (even through puberty I didn't have acne) I had tried everything, but it only made it worse in most cases. I was browsing through the internet and came across your website. Just wanted to personally thank you for this amazing acne regimen. Ive had acne since 16 (now 21) and its been hard to deal with. Ever since I broke out my self esteem had hit rock bottom...i lost my confidence, my swag, and alot of my social skills. I've been on the regimen for 9 months now and 90% of my acne has cleared up. Just wanted to write a quick note and tell you the regimen is working fantastic. I use your products simply because it's convenient to order them all at once and they come in large quantities which is great. I've been on it for about 2-3 weeks now and the results I've had are astonishing to say the least. Even in the first few days of use there was a noticeable improvement. My acne has lessened over the years, I'm 28 now and have had it since I was 14. Through my teen years it was at its worst. I don't even want to talk about it because I'm trying to forget it. In any case it has improved as time has gone on but is still mild to moderate. Until the regimen that is. I've tried a bunch of different things over the years but Proactiv in particular gave me the best results out of anything, no doubt due to the BP it contains. But it still never completely cleared me and I eventually gave up on it because it was expensive and at that time I couldn't buy it in the store I had to wait for it to come in the mail. Plus they give you such little quantity if I ran out and my next shipment hadn't arrived I was in big trouble. Had I known back then that the secret is to gob on the BP I probably would have gotten more clear than I did, but even still I couldn't possibly have used this much BP with the tiny bottles they provide. Well now I can, and it works great. I am 100% clear now, from about 80-85% before the regimen, and I have no redness or anything. My skin looks the best it has since I was 13 aside from being oily and having some scars. But I don't mind the scars to be honest, and the oiliness really doesn't bother me that much because there's no acne for it to magnify. I really couldn't be happier unless it totally went away of course, but this is the next best thing. It's a great feeling to not have to worry about acne anymore, being able to be confident again and not being in pain. Thanks for everything you've done for us all.

I read your regimen nearly 9 years ago if I remember right !!!!

I was able to get all of the items you suggested at the time and my face was so clear i couldn't beleive it. I would get the occasional one if I forgot to stick to it but it worked great for years!
What happened? Well they stopped selling "Purpose lotion" wherever I lived and I desperately looked for something else and everything I tried seemed to make me break out more.

I can't beleive how huge your site is now. It is so amazing what your regimen does if properly followed. 2X a day folks! In the same order and let it dry!

I am going to go out tomorrow and pick up some BP because I forgot about that darn stuff!!! I have a good cleanser and moisturizer but still break out and I don't use anything else because I am getting older than the first time I emailed you 9 years ago ;) and have rosecea now.
