To whom it may concern, I am a 27-year old wife and mother of two. I had struggled with moderate acne since the age of about 14. However, after I reached the age of 20 my acne breakouts began to be what I would consider severe. I tried every product on the market, (acne statin, murad, proactive, clearasil, oxy, acid peels, skin creams, egg whites on my skin, I even tried bleach I got so desperate). The dermatologist cost a fortune just for the visits and that didn't even include the medications he was giving me. He tried to convince me that I was breaking out due to hormones and stress, and prescribed medicine to help control my hormones(dioxycyclene) along with 2 bottles of his brand of facial cleanser and toner which costs me $20.00 each. My face was so bad that I shyed away from cameras and hated to go outside. I tried to wear my long-hair in my face to cover it and never looked people in the face. I hated for my husband to look at me. My children and small neices and nephews would always ask me why I had bumps on my face. I would just tell them that I had bad skin. When I would go to the dermatologist my son would ask me if he was going to give me new skin. Needless to say that for the past 7 years, I have spent a vast amount of time being embarrassed about my skin and trying to find ways, any way, to make it better. Lately I had just become resolved that this is the skin I was born with and I might as well get used to it. About 8 days ago, I was searching the internet trying to find some cosmetics that might be able to minimize the appearance of my bumps. Then I came across your website. I thought it was a bunch of baloney. Here you were all but promising clear skin and saying that all it would cost me was a trip to Wal-mart and $15 or so. Yeah right!!! Anyway, I spent time reading your message boards and decided to go ahead and purchase the products. After all, it didn't seem like my face or my self-esteem could get any worse. I've been using the products now for about a week. The first few days were tough. I experienced severe drying, cracking and peeling of my skin and looked somewhat like an alligator:) But I just cut back on the amount of cream I was using and stuck with it. Now here I sit, and much to my surprise ALL of my large, ugly, discolored bumps are GONE. I have not had ANY new bumps since I started using the products and my scars and marks almost completely fell away with all the dead skin that was shed off of my face. All that remains now are baby fine bumps that are all but unnoticeable compared to how I looked before. I'm still in shock. My face hasn't looked this good since before I hit puberty. I'm not one to write e-mails and tell my personal business, but I figured that after all you've done for me, this is the least I could do. I graduate from college in about a month, and thanks to you I don't have to come up with some creative way to do my hair in order to effectively hide my face. I fought acne as a teenager and thought I'd grown out of it, thankfully! But as an adult, and as I entered a pretty stressful time in my life, I broke out again. It was terrible and my self-esteem really suffered. It was the awful, painful systic acne I'd had as a teenager. I had no idea what to do. Well Dan, I must say that I too was a skeptic of your regimen. I found this site months ago, and i tried a few other things before finally giving in and trying yours. After almost a month, I must say I see noteworthy improvement. Not perfection but I have a feeling I will get pretty close with time. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! I hope I am not jinxing myself but I really and truly think this is the end of the road for me! yaya!
For all those looking to try thsi but who also feel skeptical. I went to the Dermatologist for over year and I received no answers and no real help. I tried things on my own pro-activ made my skin worse! Termeric helped for awhile but turned everything yellow. CLean and Clear advantage helped but still not enough. I have been there. I have had very very mild acne throughout my teens and yound adulthood. But in the past three years it worsened to the point of embarrassment and exhaustion. It was painful! Very.. to go an entire work day with a painful postule on my face was just gosh horrible.
stick with the program and find the right Benziol - Moisture balance for your skin and you will be A ok! ; )
One other thing worth mentioning. I have extremely extremely sensitive skin.. and my skin has grown accustomed to this regimen in very little time..

I still can't believe how a simple product can work this well. In terms of effectiveness, this is as good as anything else including accutane. But when you factor in side-effects and cost, this beats everything else including accutane. I wish it was around when I was 16 before I developed my scars :(

I recently broke out bad around my jawline and throat area. I've broken out in the past but this time, it was pretty bad. When I say bad, I'm talking about what you termed 'severe acne'. I just couldn't figure what I had done to trigger this breakout. At 36, I thought I'd passed that 'acne phase'. I guess there's no such thing. I have to say that my confidence took a big hit. I tried just about everything, short of accutane. I even tried that blue light therapy at the dermatologist's office. For those who are contemplating this therapy: DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!
So I came across your site three months ago. I, like others who have posted their success stories on your site, was highly skeptical. I mean, I'd tried just about everything already and the results had been extremely discouraging. Then I realized I had nothing to lose, other than the acne itself. After the first month, I saw minimal gains. For encouragement, I would read the success stories of other people. Then the second month came and passed. I began to see noticeable changes. Again, I kept reading the success stories for encouragement. Now it's reached the end of the third month and the results have been dramatic. My face is clear now. It's just amazing.
To any acne sufferer who happens to read this. The moral of my story is to not give up and give the regimen time to work. It is very easy to get frustrated and give up on it. Believe me, I was there. I was a bit skeptical at first, after trying so many over-the-counter brands and treatments but I was really surprised at the effectiveness of the regimen. The trick I found was to stick with it and not get disappointed if I didn’t see results immediately. Low and behold, after a few weeks, my skin started to clear up and is in the best shape it's been in a long time. My advice to new time users is to follow the regimen exactly, stick with it even if things look down and eventually good things will happen!

I have been wanting to thank Dan! I am 42 and have been plagued by acne since adolescence. I have tried EVERYTHING including Pro-Active and Accutane. The accutane had terrible side-efffects in the beginning but worked wonders....for about 2 years. Then it all came back last summer...and with a flourish! I didn't want to go that route again so tried a popular herbal medication - without success. Feeling desperate once again, I did an online search for help.
