Just want to say thank you!

Came across this website last week and shared it with my teenage son. He's been under the care of a dermatologist for two years, but things seemed to be getting worse instead of better. Also, I wasn't too thrilled with the antibiotic regimen or the night cream (tazorac). I had a feeling the cream was causing irritation. I went to the drugstore and bought what you recommended - Clean and Clear foaming facial cleanser, Neutrogena On-the-Spot cream, as well as Neutrogena oil-free moisturizer for sensitive skin.

After less than 24 hours, his skin improved! It's been almost a week now and he looks like a different guy! He has lots of allergies and I've never really found a good moisturizer that he could tolerate. The verdict is still out on this one, but at least he's not reacting to it. Now I'm very tempted to try your products, but I'm a little worried about changing the routine at this point because it appears to be working! Do you feel that your products are so comparable to what I've bought that there should be no problem switching?

Anyway, I just had to write and thank you.

I can't believe I went so long without the Regimen. I struggled with mild/moderate acne throughout all of my teen years, and I was dismayed when it hadn't subsided by my early twenties. Adult acne is no fun! Clearasil worked, but that 10% BP is so harsh that I could never stick with it. I constantly had smaller whiteheads, and usually 1 or 2 large, painful bumps each week. Some were big enough to scar. I was constantly wearing concealer. I don't think my acne was really severe, but the spots HURT, and they eroded my confidence.

I found this site just after I graduated from college. My mom had sent me a sample pack of Proactiv, and I liked the lotion, but it was expensive and perfumey. Imagine my joy when I found that I could buy large containers of BP from Dan's store! I saw results immediately and I was hooked.

I've been following the Regimen for over 4 years now. It's great because it's so inexpensive, and I can use my own cleanser and moisturizer if I want. I go days at a time without even thinking about makeup. I haven't bought a tube of concealer in two years--I simply didn't need it! I still get a few little spots now and then, but they're usually gone by the next day, and they're never big enough to scar. I love, LOVE having the products in the new 16-oz pump size--it's so convenient and I can pump out exactly as much as I need each time.

My acne exploded after I stopped taking medication, and I struggled for months and tried everything I could find - scrubs, masks, salicylic acid, Proactiv, natural remedies and more - and nothing seemed to help. Within two months of starting the Regimen my skin was 99% clear. My only regret is that I didn't try it sooner!

Although I had moderate acne, it was a stubborn case that took 3 months on the regimen to clear up. As soon as I started the regimen, my forehead was clear within a week. However, the acne on my cheeks resisted the treatment for at least a month. I began to get discouraged but the posts and blogs helped me keep up with the regimen without quitting. By the middle of my second month, I noticed that the acne of my cheeks had decreased in size and that it was no longer spreading. I also (per the blogs) switched to the clear skin gel on the website since the Neutrogena was giving me a pasty look that was slighty embarrassing on days when I was in a rush and had little time to adequately cover-up. Another month passed, I was increasing my BP steadily, until FINALLY the acne began dissapearing in days. It happened in less that 4 days at the end of month three. My face was COMPLETELY clear. I did not have one pimple. The change was rather sudden since the next few weeks people continued to tell me how beautiful my skin was (something I rarely EVER heard) and how they wished they had such great skin. My skin is SOFT (you wouldnt believe how soft) and it glows. I continue the regimine to keep up this gorgeous skin, but with smaller doses of BP.

I keep refering friends to this website and they are skeptical. I hope they get over themselves and try something that works.

If you are on your second month, DONT GIVE UP. Certain cases, as mine, take time and you will be blown away by the results. I researched this stuff and it is scientifically sound. There is no acne case that can resist this treatment. Trust me, I asked doctors and researched texts on acne. Most dermatologists, though, perscribe medication because the Pharm companies are BIG BUSINESS. You lose nothing by trying it, but you gain amazing skin WHEN it works. Because it WILL work.

I just wanted to thank you for creating this site and for dedicating your time to making these products. I have a similar story to yours...I'm 21 now, and I've been dealing with acne for 10 years. I started out with the obsessive face washing, harsh astringents, stridex wipes, scrubs, anything I could find that might scrape away the acne. My skin got worse through puberty and spread to my chest and back. I was embarrassed to wear tank tops in the summer, and horrified by how my face looked. I dealt with, and still deal with the depression and low self esteem that acne can cause.

At 14, my parents took me to the dermatologist. First we tried Retin-A, then antibiotics, Differin gel, benzoyl peroxide, and finally, Accutane. I did two 5 month cycles of Accutane and had wonderful results. However, by age 18, my acne had returned, but it was mild to moderate, instead of severe.

From 18-20, I used harsh cleansers and 10% benzoyl peroxide, which helped a lot. My skin was always dry and peeling, and i hesitated to use moisturizers for fear of breaking out.

Not long ago, I was researching acne on the web and read the study that found 2.5% BP was just as effective and less irritating than 10% BP. It was then that I came across your website and discovered your wonderful BP product! At that point, BP was the only product you had for sale (the others were being formulated). I bought 2 bottles and got hooked.

I have sensitive skin, so I use a gentle cleanser morning and night, BP at night only, and a spray on cleanser for environmentally sensitive skin by Dermalogica.

I still have some mild acne, but I blame it on genetics, allergies, and hormones. I am quite happy with how my skins looks today, now my only feat is getting rid of some scarring.

Hello Dan. I have been on your regimen for about 2 months.
Ive used clearzit, proactive, acne free, etc. Most of the acne medicines that Ive tried didn't work or they stopped working after a short period of time. I would like to thank you for creating acne.org because your acne medicine really works and its easy!
My face is basically acne free and I hardly breakout anymore either
plus the prices are great!

I have suffered from acne since I was 12 I am now 35 and still going strong with the 'suffering' until...I came across your website. I have tried almost every single product on the market for acne care.

Disappointment after disappointment, I felt hopeless. My friend suggested that I try your "treatment" because that is the only thing that worked for her. Thinking that this was like every other product someone has tried to lure me in to buying, I thought: "What do I have to lose?”

I ordered the whole regimen and started using it religiously. I even went online and read the articles regarding "habit reversal" because I had a tendency to pick my face. Between the advice in these articles and the magic in these products, my face was actually starting to see results! I feel so confident now when talking to people. I've had a pretty bad acne problem since I was 13, my parents kept telling me it was just a phaze and would end in a couple years. By the time I was 19 nothing had changed, if anything it was worse, and to top it off I was working in the fast food industry. Through the past couple years of my life I've tried Natures Cure, different types of pads, and even the overpriced proactive. I was very displeased with the results. I was thinking of going prescription when you announced the regime and decided to give it a shot as a last resort. I followed the regime to the word and for the first two weeks noticed an improvement, but then I started breaking out again like normal and this continued for about another month or so before the regime really kicked in. Now 8 months after starting the regime my face has cleared up and couldn't be happier, in fact now I usually only apply once a day. I haven't had a single pimple in months.

Hi Dan. A few months ago, I came across your website looking for a cheap, but effective way to fight my acne. I got acne when I hit puberty in 6th grade, and I am now in 9th grade as a freshman in highschool. During my 3 years of acne, it has kept me back from living that part of my teenage life as much as I had wanted. I was always seeing people with much nicer skin, and most of them had clear faces. The ones that did have acne, they werent as bad as mine. On Monday, September 15th, 2003 I printed out your list of supplies and had my mom go shopping for these products. Since then, I have been applying it to my face and following your instructions. It is now Friday, September 19th, 2003 and my skin is imporving already! Most to all of the redness is gone in my existing pimples, and my skin is looking all around better! I also dont know if it is the toning of these products that is toning my scar to the color of the rest of my skin, or if it is the products helping the scars, because they are looking better too! I am so thankful for your kindness of deciding to share your success with fellow victims of acne, because if it was not for you, I doubt I would have ever found anything that would have worked for me!
