| Pros | Dries out spots, reduces size of pores, makes skin less oily. Clears up acne :) |
|---|---|
| Cons | Stings after first few days of application, but this dies down after about 30 seconds. After about a week, you should be able to apply the cream without any stinging at all. Dries out skin, but a good moisturizer can combat this. |
| Bottom line | This is a miracle cream! After trying PanOxyl 2.5 aquagel which burned my face, this stuff is genius :) Today is the sixth day I've used this product (2 applications a day), and my skin is the clearest it's been since I was about 13. My forehead (which had the least acne) is completely clear now, it looks amazing, and the rest of my face is slowly catching up. When washing my face in the morning, I've started exfoliating with a gentle scrub because skin can get a bit flakey during the first few days, and this makes it hard to apply make up. But the exfoliator buffs away any dry bits of skin. However, this might not be suited to everyone so be careful. But seriously try this product, I paid £3.50 for mine, and it's the best £3.50 I've ever spent :) Also, I recommend the 5% for first time users. Good luck ! |

| Pros | Actually does what it claims Reduces redness and drys out spots |
|---|---|
| Cons | It's a BP supplement so your face can become addicted to it if used often Bleaches all materials it comes into contact with including pillows, towels and clothes |
| Bottom line | I've been using this on and off for the past 4 years and it works great. I have very oily skin so I use it once in the morning and at night. It does dry out your face though so I would recommend using it with a moisturiser to combat flakes. |

| Pros | Clears up spots well, makes them less red and generally smoothens the skin. |
|---|---|
| Cons | It has made my average strength skin very slightly dry. |
| Bottom line | I have only used this product 4 times (once the night I got it, twice the next day-morning and evening- and once this morning-to be used again later- and it has work amazingly! In under 48 hours my skin looks a lot better and all the spots on the left side of my back (which was less affected) have all calmed down and my right side (which was badly affected) is still less red, smoother and the spots are smaller. My chest was also affected with a few big spots scattered about (not many smaller ones) and they are all less red and some have disappeared. What I do is I put some Clearasil clean and refine on my back and chest. Then in the shower I scrub the stuff off my back and wash the cream on my chest off without a sponge, just in the shower stream. I then dry myself and apply the Quinoderm cream. This has worked really well and i hope it carries on. Seriously try it! |

| Pros | -Works really well - In a creamy base so not harsh - Value for money (only £3.80 per 50g tube) |
|---|---|
| Cons | - Need to purchase in a pharmacy over here in the UK ( not a big deal though) |
| Bottom line | I am using Quinoderm 5 with the regimen and my skin is almost clear with a few red marks and light brown scars. As we don't get a variety of benzoyl peroxide creams/gels here, Quinoderm was the cheapest and probably most gentle BP I have used and much better than Panoxyl which was horrendous and dried me up like a prune or even Neutrogena. As it's in a creamy base, it's easy to rub in and blends great with most moisturising lotions and I just apply my makeup over it, unlike Panoxyl which emusifies and turns into white gloop over my face. I highly recommend it to folks who live here in the UK . |
