| Pros | Reduced spot size over night, Not expensive, Only been using it for 2 days now and I am very impressed |
|---|---|
| Cons | Can sting when you put it on at first and when I say sting it is the tiniest stinging ever. Can cause dry patches put hey to get rid of acne you do need to try the skin out cant have it both ways can we :( |
| Bottom line | I am 19 years old and have suffered from acne since I was about 11, I have been on antibiotics, creams, gels everything under the sun from doctors and dermatologists! I came across Quinoderm online via boots and thought I would give it ago and I am so glad I have, Its only been two days and already I see a huge improvement! My forehead usually has tiny lumps all over it and there basically gone, My chin which is where its the worst has calmed down alot, the spots have reduced in size and isnt so inflamed. I also have used it where I have black heads on my nose and there nearly gone too! There are a few dry areas with using the cream but I just make sure I moisturise morning and night with a oil free moisturiser so its not unbearable. Yep it nips for a minute when you first apply it but I have been through more pain and dryness through treatments from the doctor and had no results! So far so good :D |

| Pros | Brings all the nastiness out of your skin and almost gets rid of it overnight. Fantastic price. You can really feel and see it working. |

| Cons | Yes it does sting I fan my face for a little while after but I would rather it sting and work than carry on having zero confidence due too spots |
| Bottom line | At the age of 28 I have always suffered spots but as I am getting older they appear too be getting worse as opposed too calming down, I am only on my second day of using this cream but from my personal oppinion I really like it, I apply it 3 times a day and when I woke this morning after using it for bed I instantly saw a difference, my spots that are big and ugly all around my chin, cheeks and even above my top lip and forehead seemed too have reduced alot in both size and redness, I do have some whiteheads today but I think that's the cream bringing out the nastiness too be honest and I am not picking at them like I was before.I am getting married in 2012 and I am really hoping this carries on working well for me as I would love too walk down the aisle full of confidence unlike these days where I walk around with my face at the ground :( I am going too change my diet aswell along side this cream as I think that will help too so fruit, veg, water and quinoderm here I come, and spots can move aside!!! U really should try this product! It may work for some and not others but it's worth a go! P.s this is ny first time using this cream and u am using the 10% one. Good luck x |

| Pros | Works Can be bought otc in the UK |
|---|---|
| Cons | Because its a cream it can appear sometimes when you sweat. |
| Bottom line | I started using this around 6 months ago as a stop gap after running out of Dan's gel and have stuck with it since. Its been a lucky find. It seems to do the job and I think my face is more suited to a cream as I can remember having good results with the Neutrogena ots cream way back. Its great knowing you can pop down to boots when you run out. |

| Pros | - Cleared up some spots on my forehead |
|---|---|
| Cons | - Face swelled up within two days of usage - Itchy and Sore - Rash developed on my cheeks |
| Bottom line | I'd heard things about this being good for spots but can leave skin dry and sore. After two uses my face got slightly red but manageable and considering that that is on the side effects I didn't worry. I used it two more times and woke up with extremely sore red and itchy skin and a swollen face. I moisturize day and night and now I'm trying desperately to bring down the swelling. |

| Pros | Cheap Works |
|---|---|
| Cons | Bleaches clothes |
| Bottom line | I tried this after trying various salicylic acid combos with little success. This has an immediate effect. Skin was tighter, drier and acne was clearing. The only problem is that it bleaches clothes. I've had to toss out 3 t-shirts and two towels due to very obvious bleaching. Not a good thing if you're trying to keep your acne battles private |

| Pros | cheap it works |
|---|---|
| Cons | quite drying |
| Bottom line | I was spot free until I came off the pill and my skin flared up really badly - really large painful spots all clustered together on my cheeks. I had been using Freederm previous to this, which was fine for the small occasional spot that I got when I was on the pill, but had no effect on this new cystic acne. I got some 10% Quinoderm and used it twice a day - a thin layer in the monrning underneath my makeup and a thin layer at night before bed. Within a week most of my spots had completely gone, I only had 3 very small ones on one cheek left. The only reason I stopped using it was because my skin began to feel very tight and dry, it wasn't flaking but just felt uncomfortable. However, by that point my skin was like 95% better anyway so I stopped using it,and began to mositurise and now it's fine. My face is fine now but I have just begun to get spots on my neck and back so will be using it on those areas. I'd definitely recommend it but use it sparingly and moisturise as well. |

| Pros | very very effective cheap widely available |
|---|---|
| Cons | sometimes does sting a little |
| Bottom line | about 4 days ago i got this horrible cluster of spots they were big, red, painful and very ugly. i had previously used quinoderm but stopped when all my spots had gone, i decided to use it again and it had worked wonders, usually the kind of spots take 8-10 days to clear but with quindoderm it to 4 DAYS! i do not regret in anyway buying this, people say it dries out your skin but i always moisturise so i never notice any dry skin, i did notice that on big red spots when you put the quinderm on them they do inflame and get irritated but thats expected for acne spots. Overall this is the best skin product i've ever used and its great for everyone, if you have sensitive skin its best that you use the 5% one, quinoderm is the BEST |

| Pros | cheap, can by at the chemist or online, easy to use, works really well |
|---|---|
| Cons | can dry the skin, can sting a little at first, bleaches towels |
| Bottom line | this stuff is a savior, it works, plain and simple, wash with clinique anti blemish soap or your favourite cleanser, dry thoroughly, apply quinoderm cream to the face avoiding the eye area, use aloe vera 99.9% gel to dry areas if you get any flaky patches of skin, repeat twice and day and you should see results! start with 10% and if too drying step down to the 5% but keep the 10% handy if yo ufeel a spot coming on apply this on the area overnight |
