Purpose Gentle Cleansing Wash Reviews

The wash, neutrogena on the spot and the moisturizer work great! The BP does leave a film, but I don't mind as long as my acne is clearing up and continues to stay clear. The white residue I can tolerate, the ance I can live with out, so needless to say that was the least of my concerns.

This has to be one of the most gentle face wash cleansers I ever used. I've used cleansers from Neutrogena (about 4 of their face wash products), Aveeno, Cethapil, Clean & Clear, Stridex, Pond's, Eucerin, Alpha Hydrox, Olay and none of them are this gentle and effective in removing all traces of dirt, oil and bacteria. This cleanser truly is top notch!

I pump less than a dime size in my hand when I am in the shower it makes a nice rich lather. It lathers very well and I love that. It feels great on my face and when I wash it off and pat dry my face with a paper towel (I don't use bath towels to dry my face) I am left with a non-drying squeeky clean, smooth, and balanced face.

I have mild adult acne as well as blemishes from acne and I noticed that this cleanser does not brighten them up or aggravate the skin like so many cleansers have. My pores feel much cleaner and my face feels free; less oily and no longer tight and drying.

There are harsh cleansers out there that go well over $5 and do not perform a great thorough clean job like this gentle wash. If price is a factor this cleanser is well worth the investment.

A good basic face wash. Did not do anything to treat or prevent acne. Tried to go to Eucerin Foaming Face Wash based on reviews on this site, but can't find it. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it!!!

This stuff is great, its cheap as chips, is fragrance free, made my face feel smooth and makes me feel clean, love it!

I personaly found this stuff too drying.
I used it for several years, scared to switch to anything diffrent because this is what my derm reccomended.

This alone wont clear up your acne. It's just a cleaners that cleans well. It's good if you have really oily skin or skin thats not too dry.

All in all if dryness isn't a major concern then this is for you. It's good at cleansing, probably the best i've used. It leaves your skin feels REALLY clean. And a bottle would last me anywhere from a month to a little bit more.

wow im a teen on accutaine and i started using this product during the beginning of my treatment. What a difference! My skin was softer, had an even healthy tone, and best of all, rapidly cleared up! After my skin was clear for a while, I ran out of Purpose and switched to Neutrogena (Which i now know for sure, that all neutrogena is crap! stay away from it!) My face broke out all over and i had severe red pimples around my cheeks. After ditching the neutrogena and using the Purpose wash once again, I immediately saw a difference. This gentle cleanser soothed and repaired my broken out skin and made it smell great too! The trick is to use it and stick with it, using 2wice a day without fail, every day. You are sure to see results within a few weeks, I guarantee!

I HATED this stuff. It felt like I was just rubbing parfumed slimy soap all over my face that never really washes off completely. It did nothing for my breakouts, though I did stop using it within a week. I don't care what your derm. says, this stuff is horrible.

This product works very well at removing makeup and cleaning your skin without drying you out or leaving anything left on your face.

I am actually rating the J&J head to toe baby wash. Since so many on here stated it was the same product I compared the two: they looked & smelled the same & had the same ingredients. I really wanted affordability with this skin care regimen & the head to toe wash offers great effectiveness. Anyways, my skin is an oil slick normally. I worry about getting my face clean. But this wash is amazing, it removed face makeup & my face feels super clean & soft after, not stripped at all. I am beyond pleased with this head to toe wash for my face.
