Pros: Leaves face feeling clean and has a great lather. Soap-free and gentle! Cons: Small bottle and hard to pack when traveling. Bottom Line: A great cleanser that lathers and cleans well. Pros: Gets rid of pimples and blemishes, easy on skin, won't irritate, won't clog pores, smoother texture Cons: None Bottom Line: I bought this after using so many different products. I am talking all kinds of acid washes and stuff. I have oily skin, and its thick. I thought this stuff would not help my skin. I was shocked at how well it has helped in the past 2 weeks. My skin has only two pimples on it. I used to get 4 or 5 weekly. I love this product and won't buy anything else. I went to plastic surgeons to see about getting scars fixed and all agreed that I should get off harsh acids and chemicals before they would work on scars, and all said generally the less harsh a cleanser is the better. 3 of the 4 I went to, mentioned using this. I am not saying this fixed my scars, but it helped my breakouts and pores for sure. Don't waste your time with other crap out there, GO GET THIS!!!!! Pros: Does not dry out my skin. Great for sensitive and acne prone skin. Rinses completely. Takes off makeup, except for some eyeliner. Leaves my skin feeling very clean. Cons: Wish would lather a little bit more. Bottom Line: Wonderful cleanser. I hope they don't stop making it! My acne - at age 40 - is finally under control paired with Neutrogena healthy skin lotion used after washing. Try this cleanser especially if you have dry or sensitive skin with your acne. My teenagers have started with bad acne and are using prescription topicals which dry out their skin. I'm going to have them start using this cleanser as part of their routine. Pros: The best product out there! It clears my skin and keeps it soft. I can use it more than once a day and it doesn't dry out my skin. Cons: I wish the bottle was more travel friendly. Bottom Line: I would recommend Purpose to everyone-regardless of their skin type. Those who have taken my recommendation have had nothing but good to say about it and still use it. Pros: Give you a clean feeling Very smooth and very gentle THIS IS A SOAP FREE PRODUCT! Cons: None...:) Bottom Line: From my experience, this is a most amazing fash wash I have ever tried. I found out about this product when I was using the regimen by Dan. I had to find some fash wash that is gentle enough for my skin. So I was looking at the recommended product page, and the product reviews and found the product out! Well, anyways... that is not important! Pros: Nice smell, no residue on your skin, cleans your skin well Cons: Dried my skin out Bottom Line: It was alright. For some reason it totally dried my skin out, even with though I also use a moisturizer (and I normally have oily skin, so that was weird to suddenly have dry skin). My skin felt tight and started to peel and flake. I still use this once in awhile though and I'm fine. Otherwise it just wasn't right for my skin I suppose. For travel I just poured it in another container, no big deal since the actual bottle spills easily. Recommended: Yes Usage: Rory has used this item for a few months. Pros: Cleans skin very well, smells pleasant, affordable, very simple cleanser, makes skin feel clean and soft but does not dry the skin at all. Cons: Could be a bigger bottle, might like it if it made more suds, but no big deal. Bottom Line: It does not cause break outs and may be the reason my skin has improved, although not sure because I changed everything in my regimen at once. I have certainly and finally found a cleanser for life. I like this much more than Cetaphil. There is nothing bad I can say about this cleanser. I am thrilled with it! I recommend it to anyone! Pros: gentle, removes makeup well, non irritating, affordable, doesn't clog pores, doesn't dry out skin. Cons: They could work on a better packaging as it doesn't travel well. Bottom Line: By far the BEST cleanser. I used Cetaphil for 3 months and it clogged my pores to the point where I had to have them extracted by my dermatologist (ouch!). Then I switched to Purpose and I saw great improvement. Then I decided to use Neutrogena Fresh Foam which dried out my skin. Then I went back to Purpose and again my skin was at its best. Then I decided to try La Roche Posay Toleriane cleanser which was awful. It left a residue on my skin and broke me out. Finally I went back to Purpose and within one day my skin cleared up. I am glad that I tried several cleansers because now I know that Purpose is the ONE for the reasons specified in the "pros" box and here. My regimen is very simple and my skin loves it. In the morning I cleanse followed with a high quality suncreen 50 spf, at night I cleanse again, use retin A (awesome product) followed by a light moisturizer. Clear skin is definitly attainable with a good regimen, good spf and a healthy lifestyle (NO refined carb and sugar). Recommended: Yes Usage: Reviewer has used this item for about a year. Pros: It's gentle and it works. Cons: Difficult to pack for traveling. Bottom Line: I have the worst combination of skin ailments possible: acne and eczema. How can you reduce washing to handle the eczema and increase washing to handle the acne at the same time?! And the cold weather only dries out my skin worse! Fortunately, this cleanser is soap free so I can use it twice a day without drying out my skin, and it cleans just as well as soap.
