Pros: good lather, convenient pump packaging Cons: irritated my face, excessive peeling and irritation Bottom Line: this contains sodium laureth sulfate! sls is the major skin irritant that is out there, no wonder they don't put their ingredients on the bottle, if it's too good to be true...it is! Pros: Cleans the skin with little to no residue, can be used to remove eye make up. Cons: None Bottom Line: This isnt really supposed to clear up acne at all so I cant judge it on that. It cleans my face with no scent, irritation or medication. Preps my face for medications and does a great job of cleaning off makeup. Its a little drying but not as much as the Neutrogena acne wash. Pros: It is a good basic cleanser. It doesn’t have many ingredients, no salicylic acid or little bead things (which irritate my skin). I needed something gentle as I am using BP and it dries out my skin. Cons: I would not recomend taking it in the shower as the bottle lets water in and ruins the face wash!! I do not have really bad acne so I just use it to remove make-up and clean my skin. I feel that that is all it is good for. Bottom Line: I love how gentle it is, I only use it to cleanse my face and not to treat acne. Be cautious when taking it in the shower! Pros: doesn't irritate sensitive skin,cleans well doesnt drying out skin, $$$. Cons: THE BOTTLE I cant stand the bottle you cant take it in the shower if water gets in it its ruined. Change the freakin bottle haha. Bottom Line: I was on proactive for about 2 years it made my skin feel perfect i didnt really have that bad skin to begin with just some break outs that i wanted to control. Proactive worked.Clear beautiful skin. Then one day it just stopped working and not only that but made my skin so flaky and dry but also Break outs even got cysts Eh it sucked I couldnt figure out why this was happening!My skin was WAY WORSE then ever!i read on message boards its common for proactive to do that.i went on to try so many products like muradEven the sensitive skin line hurt my face.my skin was oily and dry at the same time.I didnt know what to do I was tired of spending money on things that didnt work So i FINALLY tried purpose IT WORKED i couldnt believe it! My skin is softer I have to use a moisturizer cus even the gentle as water isnt gentle enough for me! Get a good moisturiser and i also use persa-gel on spots. My skin is way better! Pros: clears most acne, smellsss niceee, doesn't dry your skin, cheap, and its fun to lather with xD Cons: Well, it worked for a month for me, and then it stopped working. Bottom Line: I really like the Purpose Gentle Cleansing Wash. I wouldn't recommend it for REALLY BAD acne, more mild to medium. It should be for more quick fixes, as it makes pimples vanish quickly, but stops working after a while. Still, a very good cleanser; probably one of the best on the market. ;) Recommended: Yes Usage: Brianna!! has used this item for a few months.
