This is my first cleanser I tried so, I can't really compare it to anything else. But so far, no side affects or nothing! I guess I could reconmend it!

I had been using purpose for several years when i decided to experiment with some other stuff. I switched back to purpose because nothing compares. I have really sensitive skin but not very oily. Purpose doesn't dry out my skin and it removes makeup really well. Anything by johnson and johnson is great if you have sensitive skin. I recently added some clean and clear products to my routine and those are great too!

I tried Purpose on a total whim one day; I've had acne problems for years and I have really oily skin, and have never found a cleanser that worked so well. I would reccommend it to anyone!

If you like Purpose, try Clean and Clear Foaming Facial Cleanser for Sensitive Skin (in fact my ratings are based on this, not Purpose) - they are THE EXACT SAME PRODUCT - as in the ingredients are identical! (makes sense, since they are both manufactured by Johnson & Johnson). I believe the price is comparable, but you may as well get the clean and clear, as it comes in a slightly larger bottle.

This is the first cleanser that cleared up my skin almost completely. I have been using it for around a month, and my skin has never been clearer! I love how well it lathers, and its gentle scent.

My dermatologist told me to use this because I have sensitive skin and a breakout problem, but it dried my face out horribly, and after a week or so I noticed my skin was breaking out in little red bumps everywhere. I looked online and some of the ingredients are listed as clogging pores and upsetting sensitive skin. It isn't fragrance free either. If you have sensitive skin or are sensitive to pore clogging ingredients, I wouldn't try this.

I love this cleanser. It leaves my face feeling clean and soft but not dry (I have mildly oily/sensitive skin). It smells great and lathers great too.
