I HAVE HAD ACNE FOR YEARS AND I HAVE TRIED EVERYTHING FROM OTC MEDS TO RX. NOTHING WORKS BETTER THAN THIS BAR OF SOAP. I WASH MY FACE MORING AND NIGHT WITH THIS SOAP AND THEN APPLY THE DUAL MOISTURIZING LOTION. WORKS WONDERS!!!!

Very Good Soap, makes your skin feel fresh and clean. Only problem is you will cry when you see your acne, it helps bring everything out which is good for most of us. Seems to help with my red marks?? I don't know, love the stuff. I have two boxes, this will be my only soap from now on. Perfect for Accutane User (Such as myself)

I have used this bar for at least 6 years...it is the only thing I can use to shave with...everything else is just not as good. This soap is rather too drying for my face...I notice its so drying it even dries itself out...it lasts for a long long long time but it starts to crack and go to pieces after about six months. I would recommend getting one of those rubber or plastic soap holders that keep the soap from sitting in any water, otherwise it gets mushy and white on the bottom. I took it to Arkansas once and then I couldn't find it in the shower the next day...the humidity had caused it to swell up and turn into a white puffball...it had camoflauged against the tub... pretty wild...

i have been using this wash for almost 2 months now and it works well. its just that the soap starts to deteriate after about 2 weeks of being re-used. The medication seems to almost sink out. But i use it with a lotion and i haven't gotten acne since. great product

This is the best cleanser for oily,acne prone and sensitive skin(my facial skin is all these).It removes the dirt and the yucky oil from the skin.It does make the skin a little dry but it does not strip out the moisture like the other bar soaps.It makes your skin ready for your acne medication.
I clean my face with this soap twice daily and I apply nuetrogena on the spot during the day because it prevents the skin from becoming too oily.
I used to use proactive before and it did work for me very well.But it is a little pricey.
And then I came across this site and started using this regimen.I knew this regimen is going to work for me because proactive worked for me.This is much more cheaper alternative.This is the best regimen to follow if bp is working for you.But do not ever go out into the sun without wearing a sunscreen.Bp makes the skin very sensitive to sun.

I am a 24 year old female and have been on the regimen for about 3 months. I used to suffer from excessively oily skin and acne. The oil is still a small issue, but with using the purpose bar and bp, I have seen dramatic results with my skin. I had large, painful, cystic acne that flared up with stress and hormone changes. I am a pharmacist and have tried everything except accutane. I just couldn't go through that. From prescription meds to over the counter products, I have never had clearer skin. The acne has cleared up (I have a few flare ups from time to time), my redness has diminished and my skin tone has improved. You will experience a little dryness, but use the product as indicated and it is manageable. I am a harsh critic of acne products, as I'm sure everyone on here is, but I would not be writing this recommendation if I didn't have the positive experience and believe in the regimen. Young or old, if you are on this website, you must try it. It was the best decision I ever made. My regimen is washing with the purpose bar morning and night, applying the bp gel liberally and using a very fine micro gentle scrub by Mary Kay every other week. I didn't add that step in until the 2nd month. My skin is so much better. The regimen is so affordable, you have nothing to lose and great skin to gain! Good luck...

I started using this product after I used the Nuetrogena extra gentle face wash (which did not work, by the way!)and I just absolutely love it. It gets your face really clean, and the reason I can tell it does is because I have no mascara on after I wash with it. I love the way my face feels after I wash with this bar. Plus, my face has really cleared up using this bar plus the nuetrogena on the spot.

My doctor gave me a sample and it is wonderful, it cleared up the skin problems I had.
My only problem is I cannot find it anywhere in my area

I LOVE this soap. Now I am a person who either breaks out or gets extremely dry skin from any other soap or cleanser. Purpose does not leave my skin looking ashy or cause break outs. I can use it twice a day.
I was using last fall and started getting actual compliments on my skin. (Imagine that.) I stopped using it and the break outs returned.
So now Im back on it and hopefully the road to clear skin will continue.

Works really good. I've seen an improvement in my skin since using it (it's been about a month now) but it drys up my skin. Haven't started using moisterizer due to my laziness, but I will get it in the next couple days. I think it should help with my dry skin.
