Pros: Works very well, and lathers great. All you need to do is wet your hands then rub the soap a little and you've got all the lather you need. It's also really affordable. The smell takes a while to get used to but it's great. Cons: NONE. A lot of people are complaining about dryness. I used to experience that as well. Then I realized I was using too much lather and leaving it on my face too long. Use less lather and wash it off your face quickly. The dryness will stop. Bottom Line: Use this soap. The reason I bought it was because it doesn't have a lot of chemicals like other cleansers. If a product's ingredient list is longer than a novel, then don't use it. I believe it's those chemicals that lead to bad skin. I use nothing else on my face but Purpose and my skin has never been better. Recommended: Yes Usage: Redban has used this item for about a month. Pros: convenient bar, cheap, not an elaborate routine Cons: doesn't work for me, I developed cysts that I hadn't had for quite a while. Bottom Line: I came on this site hoping to found an acne cure and saw this product was rated amongst the top. I rushed out to buy it and was very disappointed. I'm not sure how it works for so many people and not for me--my acne is really not that bad. Really disappointing for me, but everyone else seems to love it... hey, it's cheap enough, give it a shot. Pros: none Cons: very drying and irritating. The cleanser works much better. Bottom Line: I love this soap, I have very oily skin, I have used it for a couple of years and it still seems to work well for me, I not only use it for my face I use it for my chest and back which sometimes break out. Pros: this product is AMAZING!!! i was skeptical at first because nothing else had ever worked, in fact many other products made my skin worse! But Purpose is different, i noticed healthier skin and less or the RED irritated look in just a couple of hours! Cons: that i didn't find this product sooner! Bottom Line: if you have blemishes,or even really bad skin like i did, give Purpose a try, it does not over dry your skin like a lot of other products and it is well worth the cost, what do you have to lose besides your pimples? Pros: I have on and off acne and it's been frustrating because products will work for a while... and then I'll get used to it and it'll stop. I saw reviews for this bar online and I purchased it. My skin cleared up a day later. Buy it! Cons: It can be drying.. but moisturizer takes care of this. Bottom Line: It works.. I think because it's so effective in pulling out all the dirt and makeup from my pores.. i know acne can be caused by hormones as well... but right when i started using purpose my face cleared up A LOT. Pros: Affordable, works great, does not smell like alot of cleansing bars, doesnt leave a film on my face and my face actually feels clean and doesnt feel oily 5 minutes after I wash, the bar is huge and it's affordable (BONUS) Cons: none I have seen so far Bottom Line: The funny thing is that a friend of mine gave me a trial size bar of this soap months ago and I threw it in a drawer and forgot about it. I had been using the Proactive cleanser which by the way is a waste of money. It works great for a minute but then its like my acne became immune to it and it wasnt long before I felt like I was throwing money(lots of it) out the window. Anyways after reading the reviews on Purpose bar soap, I dug it out of the drawer and started using it. It's been a week now. I really like it but I have extremely oily skin. I went and bought the huge bar and was amazed at how inexpensive it was. I highly recommend it to anyone with oily skin. By the way, I threw the Proactive away with the exception of the BP lotion.
