Pros: Absolutely no pros. I haven't found one good thing about this product except for it's extremely misleading advertisements. Cons: Soooo many cons can't think of which to put. So time consuming. You really have to keep up with it and use it every day! EXPENSIVE! Doesn't even work. I have found no difference in my skin. Recommended: No Usage: Reviewer has used this item for a few months. Pros: Works well for the first month or so. Easy to use Cons: After i stopped using it i have really severe acne.. The bottles aren't big ebough to last. Pros: I can't think of any. Cons: Everything Bottom Line: I don't really care how well it works. This product is HELL and so is the company. My son uses it and recently I renovated my bathroom after 25 years. The first week my brand new cream colored marble counter top, marble floor and one of the custom vanity doors has been completely ruined by this stuff. I have spots and rings from the bottom of one of the bottles etched right into the marble. It has eaten right into the stone. I called professionals and was told my $2000. countertop is ruined beyond repair. I won't even mention what it has done to my bedding and towels. I called and e-mailed the company many times and the only response I got was them wanting to know if I wanted more Proactiv. Note that the only warning mentioned on the last page of their booklet that warns that it should be kept away from colored carpet. I am furious. Pros: Works well initially. Good smell. Leaves skin feeling refreshed and clean Cons: Slightly expensive. For me it only worked for a few weeks Bottom Line: It worked well for me for the first 4 or 5 weeks. Then my acne started to come back. I found that cycling off of it for a week then going back on it helps but then it takes another 2 weeks to start working again. For the price it isn't worth it. Pros: It clears up very small forms of acne such as white heads. I had a lot near my nose and they went away considerably. Cons: Did not clear up large red bumps at ALL. It actually made me break out much much more. I am now on pills and prescription topical treatments to clear up. Bottom Line: My face hurt so bad from the break outs I go from this product. Before using this product I decided that despite all the negative reviews I found on this website I would try it. It DOES NOT WORK. Do NOT use it. Pros: Works well for the first few weeks, skin feels smoother and softer. Cons: Does not work after that, stop using it and skin is more oily, more painful pimples, flaky and rough. Pros: Clears up face within the first week of using. In my case, the first night. Cons: After a while, your skin gets used to it and it stops working. For me, it kept my acne under control, but it still broke out. Also, the price is way to high, and it doesn't even work that well. Bottom Line: It's not worth the price, and if you're going to use this, you won't be able to finish the bottles since it stops working after three months. Pros: Works well most of the time Cons: Right now its failing me! Did they change their formula recently? Bottom Line: I've used it for almost 5 years it has been amazing especially at first! Seriously great. I mean yeah I still had a few zits here and there but nothing like the facefull I had prior to it. Yeah my skin dried out but you know what? I'll take Dry flakes ANY DAY over huge red spots on my face. You can put moisurizer on dry skin to hide it. BUt now all of a sudden I am breaking out TERRIBLY! This started a week ago so who knows maybe its me, hormones, stress etc. Not ruling those out. HOWEVER I did notice about 3 months ago that all of a sudden the cleanser felt different, much finer granuels. Less coarse. I can't help but wonder did they cheapen up their formula? Pros: Works for the first month on face only Cons: Stops working after that Bleaches sheets, towels, clothes Doesn't work at all on anywhere but the face Bottom Line: Don't use it! Unless all your sheets, towels, and clothes are white maybe use it for a month after that it wont work! When I used proactive, it was quite a few years ago, I had only tried drug store products.
