Proactiv Solution Reviews

I started using ProActiv about one month ago. I had some flareups in the beginning but my skin is 80% better. It can be harsh on the skin so you have to figure out what works best for you, whether it's using it twice a day, once a day or only using one or two of their products at a time. There are some occassions where I use an additional mosturizer on top of the ProActiv lotion. If you use the cleanser only use a pea-sized amount. The key to the cleanser isn't the quantity you use, but how well you massage into you're skin. Don't scrub, just massage it all over your skin for one or two minutes. Sometimes I skip the toner and go staight for the lotion and some days I don't use the system at all. Play with it and find out what works for you. Don't expect miracles in a few days. If you break out in the beginning it's probably because you were going to break out anyway. The red and brown acne scars will take awhile to go away. The kit helps fade them, but it won't make them disappear. ProActiv makes a skin lightning lothion to help with that. Stick with the program and hopefully you'll experience the benefits I did. It's not an exact science so you may have to tweak it to suit your skin sensitivity. Good luck!

I sent my money off for Proactiv over 5 weeks ago and I am still waiting for my shipment. I'm beginning to think it's a scam. They'r false advetising!!!

hi you should find out what skin type you are before you buys something as harsh as proactive and if you really need it
you might be a combination of types like I am so use a veriety of products
my skin is dry this past winter and is breaking out alot too so I don't want to use anything harsh
I'm not quite sure what my skin is going to be like in the summer but I KNOW THAT I AM NOT GOING TO USE ANYTHING FROM THE DRUG STORE

organic and more expensive products will do you justice(I spelled that wrong I think,hehe) EVANS GARDEN,DR.HAUSHKA,BURTS BEES,NUETRIMETICS(NOW BY ANOTHER NAME I THINK) are QUALITY skin products (evans garden is THE BEST) and you can still wear make up ...MINERAL MAKUP this is what I am planing to do for my skin :
mild cleanser that has natural stuff to get rid and prevent acne(don't know which yet)Iam using the CLEANSER from proactive right now,I useda the whole set back in the fall,I didn't really know my skin type thought then,and the toner is too harsh and I don't think very effective and the "lotion" IS NOT A MOISTURIZOR!!! it is a acne lotion and you need a SEPARATE moisturizor and I HIGHLYHIGHLY(!!!) recomend evans garden sensative skin cream +great doesn't clog pores and MOISTURIZES so maybe the proactive and then that to kinda HEAL you from what proactive does to your skin

(kinda went on a ramble there) and I'm goin to use
* dr. haushka's toner
*the evans garden sensative skin cream
an overnight treatment for moisture(and maybe in the summer for pimples and to calm from the sun)
*mineral makeup
*burtsbees body lotion (and chap stick!!!!)

This product made me break out more after about two weeks. I kept using it for one more week, then returned it for my refund. Completely overhyped.

I used proactiv for three days. At first my face felt fresh and clean. On the third day I woke up with small bumps all over my face. My face now feels like sand paper and the bumps are still there a week after I stoped using the product. It is no good .

I dont have bad acne, I get little breakouts here and there that bother me so I'm trying pro activ now. My skin is so itchy and I have these ugly red marks underneath my eyes. The moiturizer does nothing at all, makes my skin more itchy BUT my skin looks 100 times better. I wore no cover up for the first time so i'm happy about that. I think it's for people like me, with light cases of acne or breakouts but so far so good.

I found this product to be totally over rated. It hasn't done very much about breakouts and makes my skin extremely red!

I tried this and used it consistantly for about two months.
While it seemed to help clogged pores o.k., it dried my skin out way too much. I had peeling, flaky skin for a month after discontinuing use. When I called to cancel, the sales person also tried to convince me to keep the product and even send me more. I had to say no several times to get her to cancel my account. The people on t.v. who had dry skin and pimples said that their skin is no longer dry...I just can't believe that it isn't without using some moisturizer with this product line.

At first I thought this product was great because I was convinced with the advertisement but when I tried it, it totally dried my skin out and the cleanser burns like hell. My acne got worser too. To me I don't recomend this product.
