i wish i never used proactiv. ruined my face. made me worse than i was. stopped using it and 8 months later still have bad acne from using proactiv. worst product ever waste of money

i broke out alittle on my forehead, and regular face-soaps weren't working so i thought, why not buy proactiv??

to me, i think it costs too much...

but anyway, the first time i used it, my face did seem smoother. it turned alittle red and had alittle irritation, but i didnt mind...
ugh then it got SOSOSO bad!! my face litterally had layers of skin removed from using proactiv. i used it like once every 2 days, and it horribly dried out my skin. i used their lotions.. it only makes ur skin SEEM like its not dry.. but ur face is just oily AND flaky at the same time.I NEVER had problems with dry skin until using this product. after 2 weeks of no-proactiv use, and of alot skin-therapy lotion, (Curel worked alright for me) my skin is at least sort-of is back to normal. My acne is a whole lot worse now, though... and even when i use sensitive skin face wash my skin gets dry... my face became SO sensitive after this product.
just rememeber, see a dermatologist b4 starting proactiv. ur skin may not be able to handle the strong medication thats in there. or, you may be allergic. plus it didnt even get rid of my acne even when i DID use it. it just turned my skin into a red, flaky, dried-out mess.

I used this product for three days and my face completely broke out in a rash akin to a poison ivy rash. It has been a week and my skin looks awful. It is dry, thick and full of red bumps. This is junk.

I will never use anything else on my face. I see a lot of bad reviews but the thing people don't realize is that this product take about 3 weeks before you start to see real results. My face did seem to get worse in the beginning, but after the 3 weeks it was flawless. I have not had a breakout in 8 months. I would recommend this to anyone with the disclaimer to give it at least a month before you trash it.

I used my daughters proactive twice. The first time it made my face feel great but by the next week my face got rashy ooking,it became very dry and red. My face feel irritated and very sore like. My daughter has been using the system for 3 week now and she hasn't seen a difference, But no breakouts or dryness.

Proactiv Worked really well for me and I felt as though it was a quality product. It was a bit pricy, but I would recommend it to anyone. It works!

I Never had horrible acne, maybe that's why this product turned my face into a war zone. I had the occasional break out, but I thought this product would clear that up. At first it did, for the first two weeks I had fantastic skin and I did not dry out but over night my forehead broke out with horrible pimples, and my cheeks and chin broke out with a horrible itchy rash. I have now been off the product for one month and have visited the dermatologist twice and my face still looks horrible. So buyers beware!

Ich finde das Produkt eigentlich ganz gut. Meine Haut spannte zwar in den ersten drei Wochen aber meine Haut sieht schon viel besser aus. Danke.

I have tried proactiv for a little over a month and it has not made any progress towards my skin and making it healthier. I am not trying to be rude, but proactiv may not bethe right solution for me.

I used Proactiv for about 4 weeks and I noticed a difference. Initially I was skeptical because I wasn't sure if the infomercials were truthful. However, the products worked great. My skin really cleared up. The only problem I had was after about 1 week, my skin really started to dry out. I had to modify how often I used it. I discontinued using it because I didn't like them taking money out of my account every month, especially when I still had the products and hadn't run out. Well, after that, my skin went CRAZY! I broke out worse than I ever had before, and no other cleansers would work for my skin. So I am back on Proactiv, except now I buy it from a stand at Gurnee Mills Mall, because that way I can determine what products I need to re-purchase. It's also nice to talk to someone who uses the products and sells them. I would definitely recommend trying it, as long as you are prepared to continue using it.
