Proactiv Solution Reviews

When i first got Proactive it worked i saw a difference in the first couple days. So i kept on using it of course but them all of a sudden my acne got soooooo much worse. I would definitly not recomend this to anyone

Works well for the first three months, it reduces the number of break-outs, but the drying causes your pores to open up which cant be closed, it just replaces one problem with another one.

First 2 weeks it worked great! Then I started breaking out in places on my face I had never had zits before. I am about to give up, especially considering the cost of the product. Maybe I am putting on too much product or using the bottles in the wrong order. Maybe the stress of paying so much for this stuff is causing me to get more acne now.

Finds was really excited at first how it worked and later dried out my skin even with the moisturiser that is very light not enough to moisturise. Have to be careful of the cloths discolouration ruined alot of shirts. And seemed to work less the longer I used it eventually because of the drying just use the repairing lotion in the morning and the new night moisturiser at night. I feel using the other two products are to drying and inhibit my skin from getting better. Right now am looking for a better product really have a hard time spending so much money on skin products.

Proactive is overpriced for what it does...clears up acne a little, but is very drying to skin and does seem to make me break out in places i never have before...no pleased with product

I have been using Proactiv for about a month now, and i think my face has gotten better, but then again, there are places broken out that have never broken out before..its like its trying to clean my face out before it completely clears up, if anyone has had this happen before your face cleared up completely, please give me a comment, because i am confused and worried that my face might not get better..thanks

I did not have acne as a teen-ager or young adult but after I stopped nursing my third child, I was suddenly (or so it seemed) plagued by breakouts in my t-zone (approaching 40 no less). I tried a number of over-the-counter products but none had a significant impact. One night I turned on QVC (a favorite pasttime) and the Proactiv hour was nearing its end. I had seen the infomercial (or parts of it) several times before but was never moved to make the phone call. However, this time I really watched and listened. I contemplated making the call for about 2 daysand finally did it. I have used it for 2 1/2 months and have no regrets. Trial and error taught me that following the regime once a day is sufficient to keep breakouts at bay.

for all y'all out there with MILD acne, it might be a better idea to use it only once a day.

Proactiv has helped me so much. I've tried everything, all those face cleansers and all they do is make your face feel clean but never really prevents acne. Proactiv works well if you are in control. What I mean is, having a balanced diet, getting the accurate amount of sleep, and drinking enough water. The downside of proactiv is that it becomes quite costy, considering the other things you can buy with the cumulative proactiv fee. I try to save on buying proactiv by cutting the usage of the solutions, mainly the repairing lotion. Occasionally, I get pimples and acne due to the lack of sleep and malnutritious meals I eat. However, this does not affect my view point of a great product. I strongly suggest anyone who has time and cannot find a solution to use ProActiv Solution.
