the proactiv solution only worked partially for me, the advertisements were a bit misleading. i thought i would be completely, or mostly, cleared from acne, but i wasnt. my face still broke out consistently, and i feel that a cheaper product is capable of doing the same, or better, of a job.

It didn't work at all. It made my face really really itchy and it smelled like crap. On the t.v. it made the bottles look so much bigger but really they're not big at all. I would not buy this product. You could get drug store products that work much better for cheaper.

I've used Proactiv for a couple of months. I noticed a difference in days! I was really suprised, but it really does work! It sometimes dries out my skin, but I LOVE IT!

I've been using proactiv for about two week now, and it works great i saw improvements in my skin the first week. The only problem is at first it left my face feeling completely dry and tight no matter how many times i used the oil- free spf 15 moisturizer.It even left dark dry patches around my eyes. Eventually i called proactiv, and asked them if it was okay to use other facial moisturizers ,and they aid it was alright just as long as it wasn't acne medicated, because of the acid. After switching moisturizers my face feels and looks great.

I used Proactiv for about a year and saw pretty decent results in the first few months. After a while, however it seemed to lose it's effectiveness and I started breaking out worse than I ever have before. My complexion also worsened quite a bit and it made my skin incredibly oily. I think after a while you just develope an immunity to it and it doesn't work anymore.
