Proactiv Solution Reviews

I have use Proactiv off and on for about 2 years. For the first month, it's really effective at clearing up my skin, but then it seems to loose effectiveness. When my skin begind to break out badly again, I will reach for the Proactiv.

Made my face worse than it's ever been in my lifetime. Never got to the "better" part. Thanks to proactiv, I now have everlasting scars from acne that proactiv created.

I can't blame it on anything else, because I've never been allergic to the active ingredients, I diet well, drink lots of water, and like I said, my face has never been so bad. So yes, I know for a fact that it was Proactiv that made it worse and nothing else.

It sure works for me. I started using it out of sheer desperation about six years ago and after about a week and a half my skin cleared, and stays clear, as long as I stay on this stuff. Wish it was available back when I was a teen. Also wish it weren't so expensive and hard to get. Also wish I could get away from benzoyl peroxide since it's ruined several nice shirts and pillow cases.

I used Proactiv for 3 weeks. The first week I did notice improvement on my skin, after that my skin became very dry. I had very mild acne. from 2-3 I now have acne all over...
I'm returning the product today for a refund. Had an adverse reaction on me. Perhaps it works on more severe acne situations. Big mistake when I bought it.

I am in my mid 30's and was beginning to experience some frequent breakouts; and I had heard about Proactiv, so I decided to give it a try. It's been about 6 months now and so far so good. I love it. I find that not only has it helped with the breakouts, but it has also improved my skin's condition; it's much softer and healthier looking. I do think it's a little expensive, but it does work well and as the old saying goes; "You get what you pay for".

I had Acne years ago (high school) Mild form, but had a great mom whom took me to the dermatologist..I guess he was nice because he gave me Accutane, and it worked GREAT!! I had clear skin...UNTIL MY 30's!!!! Now my skin has been breaking out worse than when I was a kid...Went back to the dr...trying some RX, but also started Proactiv at the same time..seems to have work well for me..BUT everyone should remember, that when you switch to a new product, your skin WILL get WORSE BEFORE it gets better..Even if your skin is not breaking out..we all have embedded dirt and under lying bacteria, and ANY DR will tell you when you start ANY new Treatment..you will see a increase in breakout before it gets better!!!!

I've tryed a couple of acne face washes, most of them just over dryed my skin. ProActiv hasn't dryed my skin out at all. But it hasn't made a HUGE difference in my face. I didn't have bad acne at all, but like everyone, I got the occassional pimple(s). But since I got ProActiv, it has limited the pimples. So I would recommened ProActic. I do agree its over priced though.:-\

proactiv has made no difference to my skin at all- in fact some may argue that it has worsened the condition of my skin, it is over-rated and over-priced. Do NOT succumb to their lies.

Well, before started using proactiv, my skin was CLEAR. I only had maybe a few pimples on my face, and i thought that proactiv would help make those go away....

Well, a week into using it, MY SKIN GOT REALLY REALLY BAD. I had breakouts that i've never had before. Pimples starting forming alot more, my skin got really oily, My face became red, and my face was itching all the time.

Well, now it's been more than three months using proactiv, and STILL NO IMPROVEMENT.

So DO NOT try this product if you only have a few pimples on your face, because it will not work for you. Trust me
