Proactiv Solution Reviews

I have been using ProActive for almost 2 monthes consistently. It has worked pretty well on my skin. Before I started using the product, my skin was horrible. I have never had extreme cystic acne, but my acne was becoming bad before ProActive. I still get the regular zit or two, but for the most part ProActive is keeping my skin in a clear cycle. Im thinking about trying Acne Free. Its suppose to be comparable to ProActive. Its also suppose to be way more affordable. I give ProActive a rating of 4 out of 5!

READ THIS!!! I've tried everything, pro activ, purpose, differin, dynacin, clenia, laser surgery, etc. nothing has worked, but I wanted to share my conclusions from spending thousands of $$$ on trying to find a fix. If you have little or no acne, just keep doing what you're doing, don't use new products or change your regimen - it will only exacerbate your situation. If you have mild acne, use Neutrogena bar soap, an oil-free moisturizer w/ SPF during the day, and a 100% aloe vera solution at night (this has worked best for me). If you have severe acne, you need to take medicine to control it first, and once the problem becomes mild, follow what I recommended above.

Everyone needs to remember that from the time you finish washing your face to applying any type of medication, how many things you could touch that could contain bacteria - try to minimize... don't even touch your faucets with your hands if possible! Use a tissue, then go straight to your application.

I will do the best to offer feedback, though I am no certified dermatologist, I've seen plenty enough to know what they do and how they treat different types of acne... and I will provide all this information for free!

When I first started using this and other Proactiv products, my skin cleared up beautifully... for two weeks. In certain cases, during the two years I continued to use their products, they seemed to help a little, but overall I was definitely disappointed. Also: too expensive! The packages kept arriving at my house before I had even finished with the month's worth of supplies.

This product has really saddened me. I bought it in the hope it would clear up my acne and so far it's only made it worse. My face looked better before I starting trying this stuff! I've only been using it for 2 weeks, maybe it gets better? I couldn't bring myself to use it tonight, I went back to what I was previously using before my Proactiv arrived. I'm still unsure as to keep on using it.

I love it! Has totally wiped out blackheads and whiteheads. Yes, my skin is a "little" itchy, but that's normal... I am 40 something, and yes, kids, you still have acne at that age. I've tried everything, but this stuff really worked for me.!!

Proactiv is not working the way I thought it would. On the positive side, I dont get huge bumps almost at all but on the negative side the little ones will not go away. I keep buying it because I still have faith that it will work..I HOPE

Best stuff I've ever tried! And I've tried EVERYTHING (since the age of 13)! I've done the herbal, natural methods, I've done Dettol, I've done anti-biotics, I've done topical lotions. Some of them worked, all of them temporarily. It seemed like my skin would take to everything momentarily, then build up an immunity to it and ignore it, and just go on being acne-ridden. Well, I've been using Proactiv Solution for 6 months now and I've only had the occasional pimple (as opposed to face full of red, angry acne which would make me depressed and embarrassed). I love Proactiv and I'm grateful for the reprive it's given me from having acne (for 15 years). I can't see the future, it may be like all the other treatments and eventually my skin will not react favourably to it anymore, but while it's working wonders on my skin, I'm going to enjoy it!

This stuff sucks. I can't believe they would sell this crap to people. I've been using it for 2 years now thinking "oh it MIGHT work tomorrow". But no, nothing. nada. zip. zero. the only thing that i liked was the sulfur mask which in my opinion smelled good. ha!

I found proactiv a gift from above! I started using it about 2 months ago, and my skin has cleared up. I have tried many brands (Decleor, lancome, +++) which has been much more expensive, and proactiv is the only thing that has worked for me! I must admit it is an expensive necessity though....they should make economy sized bottles! (But still it is less expensive than many other brands, in Europe anyways...)It made my face dry though, so I use is once, or every other day, and substitute with Nivea cleansing cream!
Hopefully I will be able to keep it up.

Proactiv worked well for me. after three weeks my acne was gone and the scars were fading. i get about 1 pimple a month (around "that time of the month") but other than that i have clear skin for the first time since 1st grade! it's huge confidence booster. this doesn't mean it works for everybody but you should definetely try it cuz it could work for you! what have you got to lose?
