Pros: seems to work Cons: small bottles, expensive products! Bottom Line: Ok so I bought the 3 steps today. I used everything on the planet, including Accutane which was hard because of the side effects. I was until this morning using the 3 step from Clinique and I didn't feel the mousse cleanser actually cleaned and the moisturizer didnt moisturize either. But remember acne has a lot of origins, my dad is over 5O and has had acne for 35years! And I don't understand people that use it for 7days and say it doesn't work! people give time to time! i mean it's like a diet: do you really think you can lose 4pounds in 7days? its the same for new products you use! your skin just has to get used to react in a positive way. and there also are a lot of circumstances that can get to breakouts: stress,humidity,bad and fat food..Same for people that use it from time to time or complain it takes too much time! how do you expect the products to work if you only do half of the required steps?! Pros: It made my skin break out for the first month but thats just its way of pulling out the impurities. After it pulled the impurites out, my face cleared up quick and is still clear. Cons: It takes amonth to see results. Bottom Line: Proactive is going to work great for some people and not for others. people just need to give it a try and not judge the way it works in just the first few weeks but wait a month or two so your skin can get used to it. Pros: good scent Cons: SUCKS!!! Bottom Line: I used this product for 2 years, and saw no results. In fact, my acne got worse. I spit on ProActiv. I am now using the clean and clear advantage kit and it is cheaper and it actually works. F**k ProActiv! Do not buy it. You are just wasting money. It costs $50 per shipment, so it's not worth it. Pros: Evens out skin complexion, gets rid of a bit of acne Cons: Skin becomes immune to it. Once you stop using it for a day, you break out ! / dries out & irrate skin Bottom Line: If you have sensitive skin, don't try ! They are better products out there. Pros: None... Cons: Dried my skin, very expensive, money back guarantee didn't count. Bottom Line: For the $60 I paid for this product, I was hoping to get clear skin. NOPE. It just dried my skin, emptied my wallet, and when they said that if it didn't work, I could send it back within 60-days, they were lying. They didn't except it, and they charged me to ship the bottles back. I'm ashamed that I was convinced by celebrities that have probably never even used this product. Pros: very good exfoliator Cons: everything else Bottom Line: made my skin so much worse. i was 10% bp it wasn't too harsh for my skin but after so long it does severely dry out skin. this product is rubbish the exfoliator is very good i must admit but i don't think any1 should ex foliate twice a day with this harsh a product. waste of money. Pros: Keeps skin very smooth and exfoliated, haven't had any problems with flakiness! Cons: The glycolic acid in the toner may be too strong for those with very sensitive skin, but it just gave me a pleasant tingle. Bottom Line: I used to have horrible breakouts and I tried everything except going to a derm, before trying this. I usually get the worst breakouts around "that time of month" or when I'm really stressed I'll break out badly a few days later. I have been using this product almost two months now and for the first two weeks I noticed only a small difference, but probably a month after I had started my skin felt smoother and softer and looked better than it had for years! Needless to say I'm very happy that I can go out without face makeup and not be embarrassed! Recommended: Yes Usage: Mary has used this item for a few months. Pros: made my skin feel good after i got done washing it. esp with the mask, and the green tea moisterizer Cons: works some days, other days i wake up with more breakouts all over my face, my skin is redder than before, and i have white heads all over now. Bottom Line: It didnt start working for me until after a month, and it worked for a few days, then my breakouts got worse. Usage: Kathryn has used this item for a few months. Pros: I'm black so it evened out my skin tone and i went out a few times without make up. Cons: Just got more and even bigger breakouts. When i stopped using it for at least three days i had no breakouts. I am now using PanOxyl 10 n even though my skin is peeling all the spots on my forehead have disappeared in less than two weeks of using PanO Bottom Line: Obviously doesn't work for everybody.If u get breakouts from Proactive u might have a negative reaction to Salicyclic acid.
