Pros: Evened out skin tone, skin texture improved some. Cons: Regimen takes a lot of time, I developed a lot of small acne bumps under my skin on my cheeks and jawline. I NEVER got acne on my neck before and now can't get rid of it in those areas. Lotion makes face sticky and not as smooth as I thought. Bottom Line: I didn't have bad acne before, just wanted to be able to have consistently nice skin but Proactiv did not accomplish that. It costs a lot, is hard to get, and is harsh on your skin. I also noticed more fine lines on my face - around my eyes and laugh lines - than before and I am only 25! Recommended: No Usage: Amanda has used this item for about a month. Pros: none! Cons: it dried out my skin and was so harsh it left some scars. Bottom Line: this product is ridiculous. i've heard it works for some people but honestly, its a scam and its waaay expensive. my face was red and irritated and flakey when i used this, and my pimples were just as bad. the reason the lotion still makes your skin irritated instead of calming it is because it's medicated too. everything about this product is way too harsh. Pros: i dont have any to report Cons: my face has broken out very badly..i was only trying to get rid of a small amount of acne now i REALLY have acne..it hurts really bad, my face is red, and my skin is VERY dry.. Bottom Line: I'm not sure if I'm allergic or something but my face looks God awful..It may work wonders for people with severe acne but others should beware... Pros: Within Days I noticed a difference. Smoother, less oily face. Cons: My neck broke out in hives because of the harshness of the peroxide formula. I had to discontinue use. Bottom Line: If you don't have sensitive skin, give it a whirl. I opted for the clinique skin care line which is not so abbrasive and have been super happy with it. Pros: cleared acne, smoothed skin, cheap Cons: using 3 things. have to use it everyday or it wont work. sometimes repairing lotion makes skin look a little oily. Bottom Line: i had bad acne and tried everything over the counter and a few prescriptions ..never worked.. the proactiv works!!!... the toner stung a little and if it was used within hours of the repairing mask smelled rotten! - but after a month or so of using it everyone complemented my complection.. looked like i had been air brushed. cleared my acne really fast, and i just love how it makes my skin look and feel. Pros: For someone who feels they have to scrub the crap out of their skin to get to clean, then it's good, but that's the only good thing about it. Cons: It worked for like the first three months I used it, then it just seems to stop working. Even sticking with the system it tells you to use doesn't seem to do anything. Pros: There was a little improvement for a few months...Then it went to hell. The refining mask is all that worked for me if I left it on for 10 minutes, not the entire night. Cons: Once you stop using it you get HUGE pimples that stay under the skin and hurt, it dried out my skin even with the moisturizer, it made my face very red and very sensitive. Bottom Line: It's up to you, I mean it worked great at first but then it didn't. My fiance uses it but only when he has a breakout and it works for him (but he also uses clearasil for men) so I don't know which product it is. But...Yeah, this is entirely up to you if you can afford it, but BEWARE - I canceled my order and they KEPT SENDING ME IT AND BILLING ME. Pros: At first, you star seeing the difference, and your skin feels smooth. Cons: After a month you start breaking out, and if you don't have the mosturizer it dries your skin a lot.
