Pros: Refining mask Cons: Dry flaky itchy skin; Didn't work; Expensive when bought outside of Clear Skin Club Bottom Line: I had used Proactiv for a few years, and finally gave up on it last year. It made my skin itchy and irritated and only got rid of the small pimples--not the bigger ones--and my breakouts didn't go away completely. It was the only thing that semi-worked for me so I used it for awhile, but gave up on it because it never fully worked for me. Plus, I even tried the extra strength Proactiv line, but that made my skin severely dry and flaky and even more irritated. I have to say that I was really disappointed by this product. The only thing that I still actually use is the Refining Mask--it dries up pimples pretty quickly. Recommended: No Price Paid: 75.00 Acne severity: moderately severe Was this comment helpful? Pros: It came in a cute box. Cons: My skin burned, it made me nauseous, my skin peeled, got red and raw, and my face broke out even more! Pros: the refining mask Cons: everything else Bottom Line: it didn't work at all for me. i used it for about 4 months and saw no difference if not making my skin feel worse at times. it did feel like it was burning, especially during and while working out. im switching back to st. ives for now because atleast that seems to work at keeping the blemishes away. Pros: Helps somewhat, doesn't smell bad, skin feels clean Cons: 1. EXTREMELY DRYING, it made my face itch, it itches all day long. 2. It doesn't clear you up all the way 3. It takes a while to work Bottom Line: I have always had really good skin with this product...back when i had extremely light acne. So it worked good then. But now, i'm 15 and i'm filled with acne, this product leaves my skin extremely itchy, dryed, flakey, oily, and tight. And worse, my acne has not gone away. Pros: Leaves your skin smooth,Gets rid of pimples, skin looks healthier, more confidence Cons: dries your skin, expensive, if you skip a step it won't work, constant use or you'll be back to were you started, doesn't remove the spots or the stains that old pimples leave Bottom Line: Well, i had light acne, in fact i only had pimples( but consistent ones) on one of my cheeks. My cousin gave me her proactiv kit( b/c it didn,t work for her), and told me to try it. I used it for two weeks day and night. My first week my acne got worse, but the sceond week it cleard up. My skin was smooth and pimple free. But i noticed that my skin was gettin' dryer. So, i switched from using it twice a day, to once a day at night. In the mornin i just washed my face with warm water, then applied moisturizing cream( for face) and then my sunblock.At night i did the usual proactiv process but after letting the repairin lotion dry, i applied my moisturizing cream. It worked so well for me, but i still have the spots that my old pimples left. I ran out of the toner and i skip that step and my old pimples are starting to reappear! But for the time i had all my kit, it really worked!!! Except for that stains that i couldn't get rid of! Recommended: Yes Usage: Daniela has used this item for about a month. Pros: NONE Cons: EVERYTHING Bottom Line: Seriously...don't buy this stuff. It is completely worthless and doesn't work for hardly anybody. You would be MUCH better off choosing another product with better reviews and success. Anything out there is better than this (well you know....)...plus I HATE getting sucked into a monthly membership thing where they automatically charge you and keep sending the crap! Pros: if your acne is bad, then an improvement will be seen in about a month....but it does not get rid of the acne, makes it less severe but you are still gunna break out Cons: dry skin, skin feels tight, gets you really mad when results are not what they seem on the infomercials Bottom Line: I have been using this product for just over 1 year, my acne has gone down but i still break out. You have to stick with the product and use it twice a day or else it wont work..if you miss an application it will show. If you really cant stand your acne...like me....then consult you doctor/dermatologist and get a prescription drug. Ive spent hundreds of dollars and am finally gunna give up on this product. I want something that will clear my acne up for good. Despite what people say about Accutane, i am willing to try and see what happens. Pros: Smelled good, affordable, and i love the face mask. Cons: It didn't work its just that simple. It made my skin dry and itchy also would make my face burn at times when I applied other creams (sunscreen etc.) also caused redness. Bottom Line: It doesn't work on me. I know people who have tried it and had' wonderful things happen but for me it just made my face look and feel like a stinging itching red mess. Pros: None Cons: Smells terrible, expensive, leaves skin dried out and itchy, does not help with acne at all. Bottom Line: I used this stuff for almost a year with no improvment what so ever.
