| Pros: | Proactiv has completely transformed my skin. it is the first skin care treatment that has actually worked. It leaves my skin feeling smoothe and refreshed. Money back guarentee so if you're not happy it didn't cost you anything but your time. |
| Cons: | The bottles are cheap and the lids may snap off, but this is easily fixed by a little glad wrap. If this is the only thing I have to worry about and it doesn't effect the level of effectiveness then it is pretty good. :) |
| Bottom Line: | People often complain about the cost but when you think about it, proactiv costs less than a dollar a day including postage which is good valueIf you are willing to commit to using it twice a day, every day then it is sure to be worth your while. | Pros: | I can feel it working, and when I break out every day I can feel the breakouts shrinking and drying up. |
| Cons: | I've been using it for about 3-4 weeks now and recently I just broke out like crazy, so idk. |
| Bottom Line: | The first 2 weeks I started using it I didn't have any breakouts and it kept my skin feeling clean and acne-free, but out of no where I broke out so badly in about 4 different places on my face, and if I've been doing a 5-step treatment every morning and every night, I dont understand why that would happen, and I feel like I'm the only one who's had that problem. I'm just hoping if I continue to use it it will hopeully stop the chances of me breaking out again. |

| Bottom Line: | I began using the proactiv about a year ago. I didnt have severe acne or really acne at all. I used it for the occasional pimple here and there. I used as directed though. I quit using it as I saw no difference. Days later I began getting what is referred to as cystic acne my dermatologist said. These are gigantic pimples/Cysts underneath the skin that get no white or black head so they cant be easily popped. They are the worst to try to get rid of. She said it was caused by my skin getting used to the proactive system. When I stopped it basically ruined my skin. I had a nice complection. This is the worst thing Ive ever done. Great marketing scheem Proactiv. |

| Bottom Line: | I don't understand why this doesn't work for so many people. it has made my skin completely bump free for almost two years. it is slowly fading away marks and hopefully with the help of aha, they will be gone soon. although this is a godsend for my acne, it tends to leave my skin oily unless i use the correct moisurizer |

| Bottom Line: | I used it for a few years, and it always made my skin greasy, shiny and red.
My suuggestion is to go see an aesthetician.(not exactully a dermatologist now.) They deal mainly with complexions. The products I got from her are working wonders. My skin isn't greasy or red and feels like velvet now. And it's only been two days.
If you live in the Jacksonville area, I went to see Deanna DiNatale at Baptist Hospital in the Cosmetic Surgery Center. She is wonderful.

| Bottom Line: | I got this product because I was beggining to develope mild acne around my chin/jawline and I have had moderate acne on my forehead for a long time but my hair covers it so I wasn't really worried about it. When I first started using the product it worked great but that was for a very short time.. about 2 weeks. Since then my acne has just gotten worse around my jawline, 2 to 3 times worse i'd say, however it has done a nice job of mostly clearing up the acne on my forehead but thats not what I was worried about, perhaps the product is for more severe cases but its just not for me. |
