Pros: It seemed to work really good the first month of using it, I had been breaking out a lot and it really took care of it. Cons: The longer I had been on it, I noticed that I was still having problems in the same areas. It definitely does NOT cure acne. When I get a few pimples, it does not make them go away faster. It makes my skin feel oily. Bottom Line: It is nice to try if you are having an acne problem that you want to clear up quickly but it seems like the longer you are on it the less it works. I would recommend trying the $19.95 trial and then cancel your membership. I believe that it may work better for some people than others and you never know until you try it. Pros: Helps pimples stay away for the most part Leave skin feeling soft. Cons: Irritates skin, makes it flakey, makes skin worse at first, smells like chemicals, takes a very long time to make your pimples go away. Bottom Line: This woud be good for people with light acne. Anything more then that, dont count on it. It still makes me break out, doesnt make current pimples go away either. Pros: The mask wrks great! Cons: Only works at the beginning. The cleaner is alright the rest doesn't work. Bottom Line: Just get the cleaner then take vitamin B5(about 10 a day) n ur skin will clear up in a week!!!! I've been suffering with acne since highschool n I finally figured it out u need to take care of the problem from the inside out. Pros: Refining mask works. Cons: Takes a long time to work. Bottom Line: The refining mask is really the only part of the kit that works, I've put it on the really huge pimples that break out on my forehead but it takes about five days before the pimple is fully gone. Pros: cleared up skin for a while... Cons: left skin dry and flaky, often itchy and made me want to scratch my whole face off!! also made zits only disappaer but same ones would reappear in the same spot even worse and bigger than before Bottom Line: I liked using it when I stated but noticed that all it was doing was fading my zits away for a while but then they would appear again in the same spot, it wasnt clearing up my skin I thought it was just hiding my zits....not fun and not good!! Pros: Acne when appeared remained in a group on one side of face. Slight smell; but not unbearable. For a week i had no new acne. Skin becoming slightly clearer. Noticed slightly smoother skin. The mask is the best product in the kit! Cons: Did burn parts of face; mainly chin area. So decided to avoid usage there. When acne appeared it appeared in huge clusters at one side of face mainly around forehead/ear area. Far too expensive. Automated pay system is a real pain to cancel. Bottom Line: Automated system is a huge pain; no one picked up the phone when calling to cancel; email is the best way to go! Is quite expensive!! Using kit for two weeks now and i feel there are better products out there for moderate-severe acne sufferers. If this doesn't work for you (i.e. skin becoming greasy; try the Olay Dermo kit). The proactive smell is annoying but not dreadful. Best to share a kit (share the costs) with a friend and decide whether it works for you. Again; its is disgustingly expensive!! I wouldn't recommend to those with sensitive skin/eczema. This product works best on those with red acne scars and not those that suffer from black heads and what-not Recommended: No Usage: Gemma has used this item for a few weeks. Pros: After a while Proactive does work some, and gets rid of some acne spots. Cons: It bleaches out your skin, around PMS isent very strong, and when you have a brake out it isent very effective. Bottom Line: I used Provactive for 6 months, and it helped some but it i want my skin to go from ok to good, and when i have brake outs and such its not a big help. Pros: feels right on my skin. my skin is sensitive and dry so it left it feeling just right and not dry which I found Interesting. Cons: They only give you a small amount in the kit so it makes it a bad deal. Bottom Line: I only used it a few times and I bought murad instead. It was okay though.
