| Bottom line | My skin was sticky all the time. I wasn't sure whether it was this product or the moisturizer. I changed treatments, not moisturizer, and the stickiness went away. So I know it was from this. Plus, it BURNS! Not worth the money. |

| Bottom line | I gave proactiv a try again last summer and all it did was make my acne worse for me. People always say, everything gets worse but then it gets better. Lies! Proactiv made my face the worst it has been in my entire life. |

| Bottom line | --Just use this product with a facial brush like DermaNew resurfacing brush! These products made such a difference for me!! I have been using Proactive for over 5 years--don't know what I would do without it. But I think this lotion works the best for me out of the whole kit. --Yes I still get pimples--but the bacteria fighting ingredients in this lotion keeps them to a minimum & reveals new, smooth, and healthy skin---especial when I use my DermaNew brush!! I just added this brush to my routine a few months ago & my skin is even better than before! Less breakouts & no flaking skin!! --Then just add a thin layer of jojoba oil for a little more moisture & supple skin--I have oily skin but it doesn't make me more oily promise! :) |

| Bottom line | BE CAREFUL USING THIS PRODUCT. The instructions on the bottle are so misleading! It says to apply a 'layer' which is really not a good idea if you have dry or sensitive skin. It does however say to test it before use which is a really important thing to do because this product can leave your skin incredibly dry and irritated. I also use the proactiv cleanser which also contains benzoyl peroxide but the repairing lotion seems a lot harsher on the skin. Every so often for about a week I applied really small amounts to blemishes and it worked very well - but I then stupidly decided to apply a 'layer' to an area of my face, around my chin. The proactiv pamphlet says the repairing lotion should be applied to any area to 'PREVENT' so this is what i did. My skin became INCREDIBLY dry. For about a week, every morning I would apply layers and layers of moisturizer but no matter how much i put on my skin was still dry. I had never seen it so dry before in my life - it was flaky, kind of cracked in some areas so the skin around my chin was almost in sections. I had to start using a really thick clinique moisturizer but i had to put so much on that the dry skin kind of soaked it up so that my skin was kind of left with the yellow tint. There are also quite a few youtube videos about this product where they say you can just SLATHER on the repairing lotion and leave it overnight. Really not a good idea. Although its extremely harsh, it does work quite well for me when used in very small amounts so i would still reccommend it. However, there are other products out there that work just as well, such as tea tree oil, which will not leave you with incredibly dry skin. |

| Bottom line | I bought the entire ProActive set once, but now my daughter and I only use the Repairing Lotion. I like the low concentration (2.5%) because I can use it all over my face as a lotion instead of a spot treatment. I usually follow it with a very light day lotion. |

| Bottom line | This product was heaven sent for me. I ordered the Proactiv 3 step system back in April and I was shockingly pleased. Contrary to popular belief, this product will not over dry your skin if you use it with caution. You only need a thin layer of it over your problem areas or any fresh pimples that are about to pop up (I do not believe in spot-treating). I definitely recommend it to people with the skin tolerance for BP! |

| Bottom line | Bought the entire system. Didn't like it too much. Didn't seem to make my skin better. Got a little worse actually and my face was one massive flake. The moisturizer that came with the pack is crap and doesn't moisturize anything. I ended up switching the cleanser with cetaphil... used the repairing lotion and got a olay moisturizer and wow.. awesome results. But in future, I'm going to buy a cheaper BP product. Figure it would do exactly the same thing. |

| Bottom line | Just buy Dans bp way cheaper and you get seriously 12 ounces more for the same price. Proactiv bp is no different from Dans bp it's all just bp....... |
