Bottom line I've tried a lot of different things to clear up my skin. I've tried salicylic acid, retin-a, differin, etc... This is much more effective at clearing up bumps and does it with less redness and irritation. I'm 30 with somewhat stubborn blemishes (small), but this helps

Pros keeps acne away, doesn't dry out my skin
Cons really expensive $28 a bottle at the mall kiosk
Bottom line I love this stuff, I use it with dans clear skin regimen. I used to use dans BP gel and it works very well to. But the difference for me it the proactiv BP is more moisturizing and my skin stays more supple with it compared to dans, they however for me both work equally well at keeping acne away. I used to use the whole proactiv system but just using the proactiv bp with dans regimen works better for me, I also use %100 pure sweet almond oil the NOW brand after I wash my face and before bp and this has made a huge difference in my skin, more supple, even toned and glowing.

My Regimen is:

1-Wash with dans face wash, pat face dry
2-Put 6 or 7 drops sweet almond oil in my palm and rub gently into my skin, wait a couple minutes
3- use a small amount of proactiv BP smooth on face gently, wait a couple minutes
4- use a small amount Lachydrin-5 moisurizer

The results clear, beautiful, even toned, supple skin

Pros Results within days with this product, after having tried dozens of other products. Six months after starting to use this, and my very acne prone chin is clear as a bell
Cons Dries your face out at first, but you just need to adjust the frequency of use.
Bottom line Worked extremely quickly and well for me. I was desperate, and couldn't really quite believe just how effective this was for me. May be expensive relatively speaking for a BP product, but I don't care with these results.

Cons Expensive, Dried out my skin
Bottom line I used this product for 6 months and it did nothing but dry out my skin. I suffered from moderate acne before starting the product, but it became severe by the time I was done. I have finally decided to see a dermatologist.

Pros Very light,easy absorbed lotion. Doesn't irritate my skin.Easy to apply and helps reduce blemishes. I use it with the acne.org regime and my skin looks great!
Cons Smell is quite strong and also its expensive and the packaging isn't that great.
Bottom line Good 2.5% BP product,although a little expensive for what it is.

Pros smooth and finely milled, not gritty. Perfect % of BP (2.5%) for acne treatment. I like the smell.
Cons cant buy it in the store.
Bottom line it works and absorbs quickly without residue. You can use it with Dan's regimen.

Pros it works and has a good backing and proof
Cons its really expensive
Bottom line i saw this stuff advertised on tv. i ordered it and it worked but i was really red and flaky for ages. it eventually went away, but i was still red. i cancelled my subscription cause of the cost and found a simple benzoyl peroxide gel. i still use it and it works, plus its cheap. the set cost me like 40 bucks on sale. but usually cost 60 bucks every 3 months, rip off.

Pros It has done wonders for my skin at times.
Cons Other times it seems to make it worse!
Bottom line I guess if your desperate give it a try it may or may not work though!

I really like the repairing lotion from Proactiv, but it's too expensive. I'm trying to find other 2.5% bp but it's hard to find b.c almost everything over-the-counter is 10%. I agree with some people saying that you don't need th whole package offer by Proactiv, all you really need is the repairing lotion. I used Acne Wash by Neutrogena as my cleanser, repairing lotion from Proactiv as my bp, and Aveeno moisturizer. They work really well together even though they're from different brands. I can afford the cleanser and the moisturizer, but I need to find another bp b.c Proactiv's repairing lotion is way too expensive. My skin is so much better now than before I started this regimen, it's brighter and I virtually have no acne except some minor scar from acne from the past.
