| Cons | It dried up my face leaving it irritated and horribly flake-covered. Your face has to produce more oil to adjust. |
| Bottom line | I was a user of the proactive system for years and then one year it just quit working. My acne came back worse than it had ever been and proactive team kept switching me to different formulas but none worked. So it will show you results fast, but it will eventually stop working. It is also very expensive. |

| Pros | Easy to use. Cleared up my acne quite nicely. It took three months of dilligent use to get it all to go away, but it worked. And it is still working four months later. Seven months of improved and maintained skin! |

| Cons | Increasing the amount you use is neccesary. I have to coat my face like crazy with the stuff. So needless to say I go through a lot of the bottles. Drying can happen if I'm not careful with returning the moisture back to my skin. |

| Bottom line | good product for a moment. be carefully and have knowledge of how long pro active will take effect and stop working. Make sure you have a quick back up product to clear up new breakouts that form after pro active stop working. Right now im suffering from scars that pro active caused. |

| Pros | This works well - on its own! I started using a basic good cleanser plus an exfoliant several times a week because my skin needs that in combination with this (no toner like with the Proactiv system), and my skin is looking great! |

| Cons | The price is ridiculous to buy it alone, and since I don't want or need the rest of the system, it's an unnecessary expense. I think I'm gonna switch to Dan's MUCH more inexpensive BP gel and hope it's just as effective. |

| Bottom line | I liked it when I started using it, then it started to bleach my hairline and my eyebrows and I had people asking me if I dyed my eyebrows..I would recommend switching between this product and another..but Clean & Clear has one with the same ingredient for $6 |
