The lotion worked really well, after you use it for a little while. I have sensitive combination skin, so i just used the system with the oil free spf 15 moisturizer. I LOVE that moisturizer too!

I was recommend it by a friend. I have never had acne but after I had my children and in my late 20's early 30's I started to get cystic acne around my chin and lower area of my face. It really worked well, and I have sensitive skin so I was worried it would cause a reaction. It is strong enough plus my skin is so soft and looks a lot better too.
I think this works for some and for some it doesn't. I only wish the price was lower for the small amount you get.

i used the repairing lotion for a while at night before i went to bed and it helped a lot. i had to stop using the rest of the proactiv kit though because it dried my skin out really bad

It's definitely not strong enough. I have to use Clearasil over this to get any true effect to my acne. ProactivSolution works great to start and helped balance my skil overall (is using their basic kit) but my skin adjusted to it after a very short time and my skin was back to looking bad, I'd say about 2 months after using it.

I've only used Proactiv for about a month, but I am giving up on it. It dried my skin out and since I've been using it I've had the worst acne I've ever had in my life. I got on it because after moving to NYC from Iowa, my skin got really bad with all of the stresses. Since using Proactiv, it got worse.
When I called to cancel, they told me it could take a few months to get all of the impurities out of the skin before it started to work. I'm not willing to have such horrible skin for 2-3 months! I'm back on Neutrogena and my skin is doing better.

ive only been using pro activ for about a week but i have noticed little difference. a few spots are less red but nothing significant at all. lately ive been trying to use more to see if it makes a difference but there is a burning sensation that is extremly uncomfortable after using the toner and repairing lotion.

The Proactiv cleared up the small bumps on my forehead but never stopped pimples from appearing on my checks and nose. You get only a small 4oz bottle that is supposed to last for 60 days. I only used it once a day because it overdried my skin, even while using their oil-free spf 15 moisturizer. So, I ended up with a super dry face with pimples!
