I only use the reparing lotion. I use it 2x a day. In the first week, I couldn't see any results. In the second week, all my pimples were gone. In the third week, no new pimples formed and redness was going down. This product is awesome. I have never seen this results in 2 years. I am so happy. Hope this works for you too!!

Hi Ive been using Proactiv for about a week and I surely am seeing some degree of a result. I used Murad before this and let me add that the clarifying cleanser is the best ever, it leves the skin so soft and balanced. What I hated about murad was the exfoliating gel and the awful smell of the repairing lotion. So I just changed to Proactiv it smells great.

Over-priced and didn't produce results as stated. I was fooled at first. My skin was smoother and appeared brighter (didn't stop acne) for the first 2 weeks...by the 3rd week, I didn't see signs of improvement but kept with it even though I broke out even more with continued use-6 weeks now. I'm in worse condition than when I started. Don't believe it when someone says to stick with it. All I have to say is that your skin is not supposed to worsen with this product!!! If excessive skin irritation occurs, you need to discontinue use and consult your doctor as stated in the booklet on pg 32. There are better/cheaper alternatives out there. Keep your money in your pocket. I will never buy Proactiv again.

proactiv is pretty dope. when i first used it, it worked real good.. but for like the first week my skin was incredibly dry. When my new proactiv set arrived, it wasnt getting rid of my zits at all, but then i started using the repairing lotion(i dont know how i started, but i did) and it worked soooooo good. but id always run out

my suggestion is just get like about 30 repairing lotions or so and ur face will be cute for the whole year or longer

have used this for quite a long time. Results - pretty good, as long as you are absolutely consistent. It helped me to stop overcleaning skin. It will not "bring out" and eliminate old closed-in remnants of pimples past. The lotion leaves my face too tacky in humid weather, and I use the Daily oil Control then, under sunscreen. Too expensive; now that I see that a good regimen can be set up with less espensive alternatives.

It does have a slight smell to it, but that's fine for me. What shocks me is that they do use some scent in their products, just sift through the 'non-medical ingredients' list. If you have recently popped or picked zits, this will sting to varying degrees. I used to think that stinging meant the product was working, but in proactivs case, it just means your flushing your money into your pores and getting no effect.

You have to slop quite a bit of this stuff on, and ironically, its the smallest bottle. I use less of the exfoliator (I often have three bottles on hand whereas I'm on the last ones of the others) and less of the toner, because for me this is the one with the most action.

This stuff alone thouh, won't do anything much. I now am going to use it, plus the toner, after using a baking soda mask. It's ironic that an expensive thing like this is outdone by a more natural product.

It doesn't work well.I don't really agree with it considering it's 2.5% benzoyl peroxide. It's a bit expensive. It feels alright on your skin. The packaging is good and there is no fragrence which is good.

i have used this product on and off for a while. everytime i get frustrated with other products i give this one another try. this last time (before i found this website) i was desperate, and was being overly optimistic that this would work since i have heard of so many people having such good results with it. again, it didn't work for me. the acne i had before starting proactiv didn't go away. i had under the surface acne which only got more red and tender and like i mentioned before - never went away fully. i also didn't like the fact that i had to pay about $45 at least every 2 months. i just don't have the $ to do that, esp with a product that is not working as well as i hoped. this product does work for some, but not everyone. i would recommend it as a last resort, but i would buy it off an auction site or some other site where you didn't have to have a subscription and could try it at your leisure.

Proactive was another waste of money for me. It gave me, like many others with sensitive skin, a rash on my neck...and face! Just what I wanted, another skin problem. Anyway, the repairing lotion worked pretty well, but the rest was a waste of money. You can find bp in many other brands that works just as well as the repairing lotion if you're like me and the repairing lotion is the part of the Proactive package you like best. Also, these other brands are much less expensive and more convenient to pick up at Wal Mart or your local pharmacy when you need them....not charged to you on a regular basis whether you need it or not. Also, ask your physician if he/she can prescribe a similar lotion. Many doctors will if you truly need the product. I was not happy with the Proactive solution! It was too expensive, and the real trick was the bp which can now be purchased under many other names. The toner and cleanser were just like any others I had purchased. Dove white bar and Nutragena toner are equally as effective and much less expensive. P.S. A doctor friend of mine says the key to clean pores is washing with warm water and a final rinse with cool water, then PAT the skin dry as not to irritate it....works for me.
