Do not like at all. Feels terrible on my skin, gloopy and nasty. I can't wait for the bottle to run out ...

I was excited for proactiv. REALLY EXCITED. I thought it would work wonders and my skin would FINALLY BE CLEAR after aving acne since I was. But, not surprisingly I was wrong. Basically, it just doesn't do anything, especially for the miracle they promise on TV, and it's kind of expensive. Not REALLY, but kind of. It didn't dry me out, but it also didn't work, so...I'm unhappy with it. My dermatologist said that most of her patients, not unlike me, tried proactiv and were dissapointed with the results. She said that it does work for some people, but not for long. I thought it was working for a while, but it was wishful thinking. Use Clearasil products instead...much better.

I've used Proactiv Solutions for several years and it has greatly made a difference on my skin and overall complexion. However, it is a bit drying and can cause itchiness.

I started using it during the summer when I was 15. Since grade 7 I've had horrible acne on my forehead (I thank god my cheeks always stayed clear) and I'm sure lots of people here know that having acne is very damaging to one's self-confidence, etc. especially for someone just hitting puberty and physical appearance becomes even more important. My mother got me to try a lot of different products, and none of them worked. We even resorted to Chinese herbal medicine that tasted like sewer water (not that it had any helpful effect either)
My brother and I saw a ProActive infomercial on TV and got my mom to order one for us. The most significant change occured in the next month. Within three weeks, my forehead was clear. I still had scars and blemishes, but at least I wasn't dotted with pulsing red spots all over my forehead anymore. I continued to use it and although at times it dried out my skin, it isn't something some moisturizer won't fix. I'm 17 now and I only break out once in awhile, but they're always small. I still use ProActiv nowadays, though probably not as regularly as I should.

I've tried everything to clear up my skin and most of the stuff I've tried has been too harsh and drying or hasn't worked.

I found proactive repair to be the most agreeable stuff out there and it is pretty effective. (I thought that only accutane worked better). I like the fact that it is a low concentration and has moisturizers built in. It is very gentle.

This stuff rocks, however, the Proactiv Cleanser and Toner are just too much for me....the lotion is all I need to maintain a clear complexion, and you don't need to put huge globs of it on your face, just a dime sized amount keeps me clear.

My only complaint is the price and the smell, but I can live with those as long as it works!

This actually seems to work for me, although I wish they'd sell just the repairing lotion.

NOTE: if it's drying out your face too much, be patient; your skin will build up a tolerance for it after a week or so. (I only use once per day.)

Really keeps the breakouts at bay, which is worth the price!

I was thinking about trying the proactive stuff and it looks like I could save a lot of money. The main ingedient in that stuff is bp and I just think that I will start to use my bp bar again. I just want clear skin without blemishes, how hard can that be??? I think I can live with myself until i grow out of it since mine is pretty much just a big red spot here and there. I still hate it though. ;0
