Pros *Doesn't take long to apply regimen
*Great ingredients/antioxidants
*Im clear!
*Rarely get too dry
Cons *Can be drying if not used properly (i.e. no moisturizer)
*She has terrible nighttime moisturizers
*Expensive
Bottom line I finally found the regimen I have been looking for. I had to stop using Dan's because his BP did not agree with my skin. My PC regimen is as follows:

Clear wash face morning/night
Clear BHA normal strength morning/night
Clear 2.5% BP morning/night

Cerave lotion night
Paula's Moisture Boost Complex SPF 30 in morning

It has kept my face clear and glowing, though you HAVE to use a SPF AND a good night time moisturizer like Cerave, I didn't like any of Paula's heavier moisturizers. My favorite thing compared to Dan's regimen is this one only takes a few minutes to apply. I apply BP right after the BHA, then just wait a few minutes (even though the BP dries super fast). I have had a lot of success with this regimen, and Id recommend it to anybody with acne

Pros BPO 2.5% is easy to spread and has anti-irritants
AHA and BHA toners are proper pH
Has a nice antibacterial face wash
Lots of research goes into her products
Basically agrees with Dan's Regimen
Ships quickly; always has sales if you sign up for mailing list
Cons Can be spendy but you should never pay full-price if you watch for her sales and stock up
Bottom line I have used Paula's Choice for 10 years. Her products are great quality and like Dan's Regimen, a lot of science and care went into formulating them. You could do Dan's Regimen using Paula's Choice products and be great. I have yet to find a product in this line that I don't like. I use her 2.5% BPO lotion which has nice soothing ingredients. My husband uses the 5% BPO lotion, which tears my skin up, but is great for him. Honestly, there's nothing bad to say about this line. You also get to pick three free samples with every order, which is great.

Pros Fairly good price
Cleared my skin a bit
Cons Bad packaging (leaked everywhere, couldn't take them anywhere while travelling)
Didn't really work for me
Bottom line I used Cetaphil during my teen years and while I'd get the occasional pimple, it usually worked fairly well. This year I started to get worse pimples, on my chin and around my mouth. I decided to switch to Clear, really hoping it would do the job. Unfortunately it didn't. I think it did help to keep some pimples at bay, but for someone who really didn't have terrible skin (not real acne), it didn't work that well. I used it for 4 months and my skin is now the worst it's ever been. Probably caused by hormones but still, Clear just didn't work for me, and the toner really dried out my skin, even though I only used it once a day. The 2.5% BP works but if you use it too much you get really, really dry skin which is almost as unsightly as the pimples themselves. Sigh. I hope this product works for you if you try it, but sadly it didn't stop the breakouts for me, and my skin has only gotten worse over the last few months. Time to try something else!

Pros Does not irritate/over dry sensitive skin
Clears acne
Can wear under makeup
Cons Fairly Expensive
Online only
Bottom line I've been using Paula's Choice blemish fighting solution & 2% BHA toner for about 7 years now on my face and neck. Both work great clearing acne without over drying my sensitive skin. Paula's Choice products use anti inflammatory ingredients that help reduce the redness & irritation. However, it is on the pricey side, so I do use the Acne.org treatment and AHA lotion for my back & chest (which used to have more severe acne) and have had great results with my back and chest nearly completely clear. The Acne.org treatment is a little too drying for my face, and I do notice a difference when using Paula's Choice on my face. I will continue using both products. I really appreciate both Paula's and Daniel's research based approach to skin care and quality products.

Pros fewer blackheads
pores reduced in sized
skin smoother
Cons Takes weeks to see results
Bottom line I use the exfoliating 2% BHA. It has by no means cured my acne, but it has definitely helped my skin. My pores are so much smaller and less filled with gunk, and it did not seem to dry out my skin. I didn't notice any improvement for many weeks, and almost lost hope, but luckily, I stuck with it and now I'm very happy with the results!

Pros -Reduces Amount of Acne
-Reduces Blackheads
-Reduces Redness of Acne
-Works Fast
Cons -Excessive Drying at First
-Only Available Online
Bottom line It is definitely worth getting, just be sure to start with just using once per day, or once every other day because it causes excessive drying. Otherwise I would say it's not a miracle worker, but it does reduce acne.

Pros lightweight, doesn't dry out skin too much, affordable, fades red marks
Cons will break you out at first but that means it's working
Bottom line I have tried everything to clear up my moderate hormonal acne that has come and gone since I was 15. (now 28). I was skeptical at first about this product, but can honestly say that it works. For the first 3-4 weeks, I broke out like crazy, but the product was just pulling out all the bacteria/plugs that were clogging my pores. I just started my 4th week on the BHA 2% liquid and I look human again. This product has worked wonders, faded red marks fast, and left my skin smooth with minimized pores. You must give this product a try.. it will work after a few weeks. I will post again after a couple months to see if the results are lasting.

Pros Inexpensive
works quickly
decreases post acne scars
not drying
Cons Can only get online
Bottom line I have tried everything...... Even spent 3000 on professional microderm and chemical peels and another couple thousand on every product under the sun. I always had good skin until I turned 25 and it's been uncontrollable since. Paulas 2% beta hydroxy acid liquid literally saved my life. Cleared my acne, got rid of post acne scars, and I haven't had even one breakout since....seriously not one. I'm a user for life.

Pros Effective, Reasonalbly Priced, Great Customer Service and Performance Guarantee, Free Samples to Experiment
Cons None
Bottom line I feel compelled to share my store in the hopes of helping just one person that is struggling with skin issues as I have! My struggle began with mild to moderate adult acne after the birth of my first child 9 years ago. It got so bad a year ago that I resorted to trying accutane because nothing else worked. (presecription drugs both oral and topical, expensive facials and peels, microderm abrasion). Long story short....Accutane was a living nightmare! The clogged pores (whiteheads) just muliplied rather than diminishing and I suffered extreme side effects! I finally gave up on accutane and in desparation I stumbled upon Paula's Choice while searching the internet for skin care products to repair the damage prescriptions had done to my skin. Paula's 2% BHA products saved my skin, my confidence, and my career in sales! (My bad skin was really starting to effect my confidence at work!) I started with the 2% BHA lotion (saw results pretty quickly but not totally clear), moved to the gel form (felt sticky on my skin but worked) and then finally tried the liquid form. I am now using the 2% BHA liquid daily and have almost completely cleared all clogged pores. The 2% liquid also helped my healthy glowing skin return. The exfoliation achieved from using this product repaired the dull, damaged skin i got from accutane! And even though I have a few very small clogged pores the healthiness of the surrounding skin more than out weighs that! I have only been using the liquid for 4 weeks so I anticipate continued improvement over time. LOVE THIS AND HOPE IT NEVER STOPS WORKING!
