Pros Clears Acne Fast, Foams, Prevents Breakouts
Cons Drys skin, Burns, For me it burned the corners of my eyes
Bottom line This is probably the best over the counter facial wash out there. It gets rid of all the acne extremely fast. My face has not totally cleared up yet, but most of my acne has faded. Some have completely vanished off the surface of my face. My face used to be just covered in acne (especially my forehead and right cheek), but now everything is finally going away. I have tried everything in the past with my acne but nothing really worked. No over the counter stuff. This changed my life.

Pros fast results, minimizes pimples, reduces redness.
Cons obviously dries your skin. (Duh! it's 10%)
Bottom line I have used this product for three weeks and so far so good. I have noticed my acne is under control now, however not compleately gone. There was a major difference in just the first day I used this product.

Pros Reduces redness and inflammation.
Cons May dry your skin if use too much.(put a little drop in cheeks, forehead and chin and distribut it through the entire face).
Bottom line This is the only product with benzoil peroxide that i can use because my skin is sensitive to it, but this one is great! I use sulfur soap with Lanolin after using this.

Pros Didn't do Anything
Cons Dried skin
Got more acne
Bottom line About half a year ago I used this stuff, before I got a real prescription from a doctor. This stuff didn't do a single thing, at all, nothing, for my skin-besides making it dry. The bottles I had appeared to be really dilluted, as if they use way to much water to save money- maybe I was putting it on wrong, I don't no. But the bottom line was that it didn't work for me.

Pros Prevents new acne from forming
Treats existing acne
Inexpensive
Cons Rough on your skin when you first start, but hang in there and your skin will adjust.
Bottom line I have struggled with acne for over 6 years and nothing has worked for me. I looked at the regimen on this site and saw that people were having success, but it's pretty expensive for a college student, so I tried to find an alternative and I found this. This face wash is the best! I normally wouldn't get on here and write this but I think this will help someone.

When I first started using it I was skeptical for the first week or two, especially because my face was in pain during the first week but I think I jumped in too deep right off the bat. If you do start using this face wash then you need to slowly incorporate it into your regimen. Start off using it every other night, then when you're comfortable use it once at night, then you can eventually use it twice a day. This product definitely cleared up my acne for the most part and put my face under control, the worse thing that happens is a pimple every now and then but that's perfectly fine. Make sure not to use it with any SA, or else you will just irritate your face and breakout. It didn't help with red marks though, so here is how I use it today:

In the morning:

1) Splash face with luke warm water and then apply a good amount all over your face and let it sit there for 10 minutes (you need to work your way up to this point).

2) Hop in the shower and wash it off with luke warm water. Pat your face dry.

3) Moisturize (I use CeraVe moisturizing cream)

At night:

1) Splash face with luke warm water and then apply a good amount all over your face and let it sit there for 10 minutes.

2) Hop in the shower and wash it off with luke warm water. Pat your face dry.

3) Moisturize (at night time I use an Alpha Hydroxy face cream I got from Walgreens to slowly get rid of my red marks, this is also a godsend. Here is a link to the product if interested: [link removed] )

Pros Clears up acne fast
Doesn't smell horrid
The Oxy Sensitive FaceThe Oxy Sensitive Face won't dry skin out
Cons The Oxy Sensitive Face Wash is quite hard to find in stores
The pads burn a little at first
Bottom line I've been using the Oxy brand on and off for about three years now. However, since I have sensitive skin, the Maximum Strength Face Wash and pads were just too much for me. So, I switched to the Oxy Sensitive Face Wash and pads. Both the wash and the pads work very, very well and won't dry out your skin. Because of these products, my acne has went from moderately severe to just moderate. With a little help from these two products and some Mederma for my old acne scars, I hope to be acne free soon!

Pros I feel the pro's for this product is that you can immediately see it working. Also, I have black marks on my face and they appear to be fading, slowly, but they are fading! When a new pimple pops up it immediately starts working.
Cons It dries your face out because it's 10% rather than 2.5% or 5%; however, I use a moisturizer for this.
Bottom line When I first started seeing a dermatologist they recommended a face wash with 10% benzoyl peroxide. Somewhere down the line I thought I should use salicidic acid and my face went down hill from that. So the bottom line is that if you want a great face wash definitely choose this product. Follow it up with CeraVe Moisturizing Lotion and you will be great. Also Oxy has a 10% benzoyl peroxide medicated acne gel that I use at night and its great. use the face wash about 2-3 times a day and you will see improvements!

Pros Clears up smaller stuff quickly
You can really feel it working on the acne
Cons It does dry, but some moisturizer will fix it
Doesn't get everything, just little whiteheads and blackheads
Bottom line Totally worth the money! It helps a lot with the acne and the side effects are easily fixable.
