| Cons | If you let it get into your hair, it will start to bleach it a blondish color, but by wrapping a towel around your hair or just being carful its easy to prevent |
| Bottom line | i used this product, along with Oxy Pads, for months and never had any acne problems, maybe an occasional pimple here or there but nothing serious or unmanagable, then the local store stopped selling this product and i had to try other things, i still used the pads but not the wash.. and bam my face broke out like never before and left some bad marks, so i went on a crazy search and eventually found it at a walgreeens that i normally dont go to.. its been a few days since getting back and im already seeing improvments |

| Bottom line | I love this product!! Its cheap. I bought a 4 pack off of amazon for I think it was around 20 bucks. It lasted me about 8 months. It starts to work once you put it on. I stopped getting pimples but it took sometime to get rid of the ones I had. That may be because I was using it once a day so I won't overdry my face. I now wash 2x a day 6 days a week. One morning each week I use Nivea revitalizing face scrub and now my face is pimple free and smooth. |

| Bottom line | I had differentiating results with this product, it cleared up my skin within a week but after that parts of my skin stayed cleared while the others became even worse(before I was on a non-medicated cleanser and lotion regimen). I mean I'm no stranger to BP I was on Dan's regimen for 2 years so I'm sure my skin was well beyond getting used to BP phase. Overall I'm content with this product, if you have strange skin like me where some of your skin is very irritable while other parts are tough as a tank and needs something strong be careful. I'm gonna try to use this product and a non-medicated cleanser in the future, except I'm just gonna use this product on the areas where I listed in the pros and use the non-medicated on the areas I listed in cons. As for drying well it's BP people you gotta use a lotion or the dryness is gonna irritate your skin and make things worse. |

| Bottom line | I have had acne issues for YEARS. I've used everything from organic acne products, to high quality products such as Proactive. After finally breaking down and going to the doctor about, I was started on a prescription acne treatment, with the active ingredient being 10% benzyl peroxide. One day the pharmacy was out of the prescription I needed (yea...great) so I decided to go to the store to see if they have anything with benzyl peroxide. I found oxy, noticed it had the same amount as my prescription, and bought it. After maybe a week to two weeks, it completely cleared me up. It even keeps my T-zone from oiling up throughout the day. I use it in the morning and at night, and yes it does dry your face out, but using a light moisturizer after washing your face is all it takes. I use to get massive pimples on my chin, and nothing would get rid of them. The painful ones with nothing in them. Yea, those suck. I never get those anymore. I can't remember the last time I've had one. For my face, it took that amount of benzyl peroxide. Neither 5%, or salycic acid works for me. Everybody's face is different, so if you are in the same boat as I was and have tried everything it seems, give this a shot. It's cheap, so what's to loose? |

| Bottom line | I never had bad acne, just the occasional pimple. I decided to buy pro active, thinking it would eliminate the pimples I would get altogether. It made it way worse than it's ever been. I was breaking out in places on my face that I never had before ( cheeks, nose, sides of my eyebrows) After using for a month I got rid of everything pro active, but my face was super sensitive to every face wash I would use, that use to always work! For about two months I had consistently been breaking out. About a week ago I heard about oxy and decided to give it a try. It does burn at first, but that means it is working! The next day I could see a significant improvement. My face is almost completely clear again in just shy of a week of using this product! I definitely recommend it to everyone. I use it twice a day. Leave it on for 10 minutes as a mask to let it soak in. Wash with warm water then put on a face moisturizer. You WILL see quick results! |

| Bottom line | I LOVE THIS STUFF. I used this all of my freshman ;year in college, and didnt break out ONCE. And if I started to see a pimple forming, after washing my face, it would be gone the next day. I literally got NO new pimples while using this. I quit for a little bit, and tried some clean and clear product and I broke out within the first week, unfortunately. I WILL SWITCH BACK TO THIS PRODUCT. PLEAAAAASE USE!!!! But it is a bit drying so use a moisturizer afterwards! |
