Pros: it keeps my acne free.no odor. goes on pretty good. Cons: expensive, takes along time to get rid of my pimples i get every so often. when i sweat i can feel it running down my face. Bottom Line: good at killing bacteria. takes forever to eliminate pimples, i use this every so often, but if i do have that little pimple, i just use byebye blemish b.c it works quick! Pros: Works,kinda Cons: Drying,I developped allergy to it initially,but I guess I was using too much. Seems less effective over time. Bottom Line: I used to have clear skin all my life,but developed huge cystic zits two years ago,all of a sudden. I thought they would clear up by themselves and focused on changing my diet,it worked a bit.My diet was very low in vitamin D and calcium,so I started to drink milk and it helped to keep the zits under control. But since the beginning of this year my acne have become a nightmare.I searched the internet,found Dan's site and started to follow the regimen. Initially I applied Neutrogena BP,it worked,but it made my skin look burnt. It was so red,so irritated,I had to take anti histamines to reduce the itching. I stopped using it.Neutrogena products don't agree with my skin,which is on the oily side. I started Murad and along with murad products I used BP again.Murad's skin perfecting lotion is so good,it takes care of the drying part.I am happy with the result.This week ,for some reason my acne has gotten worse. Pros: Pricey :( Cons: Very effective for me! Bottom Line: I have slightly oily face and I've been suffering from occasional acne for a year but it wasn't as bad as what happened to my face about 3 months ago or so. I had a very irritating breakout! I had huge cystic acne all over my cheeks, jaw area and especially the forehead. My forehead had it worst. It was sooo itchy and stingy as if there was a huge needle pinching my forehead. The pimples were also piling up, literally, on top of each other. It made me feel so miserable and couldn't help crying over it. I don't want to make the situation worst then it already is so I researched over the internet and I found out about the regimen then I researched the products that I'd like to try first and I just feel so lucky because it worked for me and I don't have to try anything else! Here are what I use: Cleanser = Purpose Gentle Cleansing Wash BP = Neutrogena On the Spot Acne Treatment Moisturizer = Cetaphil Moisturizing Lotion Now, after 21 days, I'm only left with marks + Recommended: Yes Usage: Whitney has used this item for a few weeks. Pros: It doesn't over-dry my skin or turn it red like 10% benzoyl peroxide solutions do. When I use it regularly 2xs a day (after washing with Purpose soap) I have less breakouts. If I forget for a day or two it shows! Cons: The price and the packaging. I use this all over my face twice a day and go through these little tubes quickly. Why don't they sell larger sizes? Pros: It goes on smooth- aborbs fairly well but dries quickly. Its great for prevention (if your skin is clear), and for controlling (if you have tiny, barely noticeable zits)- it usually clears up small break outs in a day or 2. Cons: If you have a massive, pussy zit already erupting- it doesn't appear to have much impact on it; and tends to make the area immediately around the irritated area dry and flaky. Bottom Line: I actually discovered this a few years ago and always recommend it to friends. Its such a tiny tube and is pricey depending on where you buy it- ranging from $6-$9... A tube can usually last me about 6 months. But I haven't used it as part of Dan's Regimen- his method would surely cause you to go through it a lot faster. But it really is good for prevention, so I would recommend it if your in the prevention phase of the Regimen- thus making it worth the expense. Pros: this is non-irritating yet extremely strong on existing blemishes. Cons: extremely expensive. I think I used to use 4 tubes a month! at between $5 & $7 that was a lot of money. I skimped on the product and was always running out because I never stocked up too much because the tubes were so expensive. .75 ounces?no thanks Bottom Line: Buying the acne.org products will give the same (or bettter) results for a much lower price. Pros: Made larger pimples go away. Cons: Caused a lot of smaller acne bumps, dried up skin, feels a bit tight and heavy on the forehead. Bottom Line: Although this made a huge zit go away in about 2 or 3 days, it didn't work any miracles and gave me a lot of smaller bumps that annoyed me even more. Pros: Works fine, help contains breakout. Cons: Slight irritation, makes your face slightly dry, expensive for a small tube. Doesn't really have a nice fragrance. Used finish fast even if you're just using 1/3 of a finger amount. Bottom Line: Since it's white, you seriously need to have a pack of tissue around to wipe that "white sweat". It's clear when you sweat. So, in any case, use it at night is better instead of using it when you're going out. For some, it might be slightly irritated on your face and itchiness. Some will feel the dryness as well, for me I felt that and my skin felt tight as well. It's expensive though for a small tube, you will probably finish it if you use it everyday in a month, one time every day. Over at my country, it's around SGD11 but it sure works and together with other product for my CSR progress is well under my budget.
