| Pros | -Diminished whiteheads and blackheads |
|---|---|
| Cons | -Left white residue - dried out my skin -Darkened my skin tone -Left dark marks on my skin |
| Bottom line | When i first started to use this product it was working and it didn't exacly leave me with clear skin, it just made my whiteheads and blackheads smaller. After two weeks my skin started to get dark marks especially my forehead and my skin would peel of and be dry even though i put a moisterizer on it everyday. Then my skin became increasingly dark. It was during the winter and there was barely any sun out so that wasn't it. After a while i stoped using it and exfoliated my skin and my skin is now getting back to normal and my blemishes are leaving. This may work for you even though it didn't do much for me because everyone is different. My advice is to keep an open mind and keep trying until you find the right product for you. |

| Pros | - did not worsen pimples |
|---|---|
| Cons | - did not reduce size or redness of pimples |
| Bottom line | Although it appears this product works for some, it did absolutely nothing for any of my problems. I get large pimples around my chin area, and I had hoped this would bring them down a bit. After leaving it on overnight I noticed no change in the pimple. When I attempted to apply foundation the area where the cream had been turned darker than the rest, despite having washed it off. Unfortunately in my case this product is more like a placebo. Hopefully it works for you. |

| Pros | - Diminished acne when it showed up on my skin - You don't need to use too much of the formula to cover problem spots - The percent of benzoyl peroxide is 2.5%, meaning it's a lot less harsh on your skin - Formula turns clear when applied on skin |
|---|---|
| Cons | - First using this product, my skin became irritated and turned red for the day - Product doesn't necessarily prevent acne. I've found that this product diminished the acne I had present on my face, but on occasions I would get new pimples - For such a small product, you have to pay a ton of money for it! |
| Bottom line | This product is decent. After a while, I found that my skin got used to the product, and I didn't turn red anymore. I haven't had problems where my acne gets worse; I find that I only get new acne when I'm getting stressed out and just having teenage problems?...haha. It's a little pricy, so look into other reviews before buying this product. I use Neutrogena's On-the-Spot Acne Treatment only ONCE A DAY, applying the product at night. |

| Pros | - Effective at preventing new breakouts - Does not clump up with moisturizers like many benzoyl peroxide creams do - Less irritating than most other over-the-counter benzoyl peroxide creams (because of its 2.5% concentration) |
|---|---|
| Cons | - Not practical for long-term use due to price and size |
| Bottom line | The actual product is terrific. Maybe one day 2.5% BP will be widely available in drug stores, in larger sizes, at reasonable prices. The reason this is so expensive is because Neutrogena knows that your options are limited, and they are getting what they can out of you for selling you this rediculous .75oz. tube for $6 - $8. Please, do yourself a favor, and go with Dan's BP. Only use this if you live in a country in which Dan's BP is not practical for shipping reasons. |

| Pros | Shrinks pimples Dries quickly |
|---|---|
| Cons | Stings Leaves unaffected skin overly dry Some white residue |
| Bottom line | I used this cream when I started the Regimen. It worked decently, but mostly as a spot treatment: it didn't seem to prevent new pimples from forming. At the price, which is exorbitant if you use it as the Regimen recommends, I decided to switch to Dan's gel. I recommend this if you need occasional treatment for a pimple or two. It's too pricey for anything more. |

| Pros | -Clears acne FAST -Gets rid of whiteheads really well - I will NEVER have to pop a whitehead again. I just slather this on the whitehead the night before and in the morning, voila! gone -Makes my skin smooth! |
|---|---|
| Cons | -Dries skin A LOT [nothing a good moisturizer wouldn't fix] -Expensive little bottle [I recommend getting the Acne.org bottle] |
| Bottom line | GET THIS GET THIS GET THIS! I noticed results the very first night. My whole right cheek, which had A LOT of pimples, has cleared, with only acne scars remaining and it's only been three days! USE A MOISTURIZER. I cannot stress this enough. Your skin will flake like crazy and it might seem hopeless, but DO NOT GIVE UP. Also, APPLY A LOT, but ONLY on the acne itself. I think the reason why this product doesn't work for a lot of people is because they slather it across their face. Don't do that! |

| Pros | BP so perhaps it was working |
|---|---|
| Cons | Horrific stinging |
| Bottom line | Well I started the regimen 2 weeks ago and the on-the-spot was just getting more and more painful every single night. So my [link removed] bp came in the mail yesterday, and when I used it last night I was SHOCKED - the pain was completely gone (had I burned my nerve endings? ;)) Anyway, I think there must be some extra ingredients in the neutrogena that are just too strong for burnt skin. |

| Pros | -Doesn't leave white streaks like the Clean and Clear BP as long as you let it settle in -Doesn't 'ball up' -Not overly drying |
|---|---|
| Cons | -Small bottle, expensive |
| Bottom line | I finally decided to try the regimen when one night, like Dan, I slathered 10% BP all over my face and found it to be rather effective. But like Dan the 10% was too much for my face so I switched over to this. So far it's been working fabulously, it really does help keep my acne at bay and my skin is the clearest it's been in two years. It IS BP so it WILL dry out your skin. Use moisturizer, it is very important. I have extremely sensitive dry skin, I stuck with the regimen and now my skin is used to the BP. I don't feel redness or anything, and sometimes I can even use 10% BP all over my face when I run out of the 2.5%. If I can use this product everyone else should be able to! No excuses ifs or buts, this is truly an amazing regimen and everyone should give it a go. A little discomfort is well worth being acne-free. |
