| Pros | Easy to apply Seems to be the only 2.5% BP |
|---|---|
| Cons | Extremely drying Small bottle for the price |
| Bottom line | I have very very sensitive skin, and i thought that this was the main culprit of my dryness. I found out it was my cleanser, so i will have to give this stuff a try with my new cleanser and see how it goes! I haven't been seeing that much of a difference in my skin, but i'll keep on keeping on. |

| Pros | Not to dry, works fast!! |
|---|---|
| Cons | None |
| Bottom line | It really works for me. I've seen some reviews that said that it burned, well I don't know how bad they're skin is but for 5 people that I know and use the product it doesn't burn at all. |

| Pros | not as harsh as the typical 10% over the counter creams; works like a dream |
|---|---|
| Cons | can be drying; tube sooo small; stains sheets |
| Bottom line | This stuff is the only brand/consistency that will clear my forehead comedonal acne. During Houston's hot and humid summers, I tend to develop tiny bumps on my forehead. I rub this into my forehead before bed, follow with a heavy moisturizer, and wake up to smooth skin! :) Key for me is using the product on a regular basis, even if I have no existing bumps. |

| Pros | If you apply this on small pimples that just appeared, they will most likely disappear overnight. |
|---|---|
| Cons | It might be part of the healing treatment, but it swelled my acne/cysts and pimples. I kept using it for around two weeks and cysts would form and last over a month. |
| Bottom line | For me, this product only seemed to make my acne worst. I'm a senior in high school and I've had acne for about 5 years. However, some products take out the bacteria and all the bad stuff so acne will swell and then vanish. That didn't happen to me within two weeks. A change in diet didn't affect the cysts as far as I'm aware. I have small acne on my cheeks and when I applied the spot treatment on some acne, they became cysts and I've never had cysts on my cheeks before. I would much rather have the acne on my cheeks then have giant, red cysts all over just to cure them. It's not exactly a cheap product for me and I now use minimal amount of the Queen Helene Mint Julep mask to dot over small acne. A tip that will help anyone, no matter how oily your skin is: DRINK A LOT OF WATER. You can buy all the acne products in the world, but flushing out your system with water will benefit your skin best. I started drinking tons of water this year and my skin cleared up immensely. |

| Pros | Reduce Redness Heal Fast |
|---|---|
| Cons | Dry and may irritate the skin for first time user |
| Bottom line | I just bought the Neutrogena On the spot Treatment for less than one week, i can see that the pus came out after two days of applications, which is more effective and faster than other medicine i tried, However, skin may be dry and flaky, thus moisturizer is recommended to use. |

|---|---|
| Cons | Left dark marks where applied Ineffective |
| Bottom line | I bought this hoping that it would clear a bout of chin acne that I'd never experienced until recently -- mostly whiteheads and the occasional deep papule. Per Dan's advice, I applied the BP sparingly at first and gradually applied more. Not only did the product not clear my existing blemishes, but it left my skin a few shades darker in the area to which I had applied it, exacerbating spots of hyperpigmentation. I later tried using On-the-Spot as a spot treatment, and found that it did not shrink the blemishes and, again, left the areas darker than they appeared previously. |

| Pros | Worked faster than expected. Smoothed skin surface in just one day. Did not dry out the healthy skin around the pimple. |
|---|---|
| Cons | Burned a little upon application to irritated/broken skin, but was only temporary. |
| Bottom line | This product works. There was slight discomfort when I applied it, but based on the condition of the eruption I was treating, I fully expect that anything I would have put in contact with it would have burned a little. I like that it's clear, dries clear and literally removes all oil in the vicinity of where it was applied. So very important to reducing the size of the pimple, which it does... almost immediately. |

| Pros | Cleared acne |
|---|---|
| Cons | Drying Kind of expensive |
| Bottom line | I took accutane as a teenager, which cleared up my acne (pretty severe acne) completely for years. When I started law school I started getting breakouts again, I think from stress, around age 23. I started using this cream every other night after trying presecriptions from the dermatologist for a year with no improvement. I then increased to every night, and then in the morning and at night everday as my skin got used to the strength and stopped drying out from the use. My acne is now completely cleared, to the point where I don't feel the need to wear make up at all and I get compliments on my skin all the time. Highly recommended! |

| Pros | - Works at treating as well as eliminating acne - New vanishing formula dries clear |
|---|---|
| Cons | - Creamy consistency makes it a little hard to spread around the face but this shouldn't be a major problem if you use small amounts at a time - Pricey for a .75 oz tube. I go through a tube after two weeks. |
| Bottom line | This is a great BP product. There probably isn't one better except for Dan's BP but I couldn't buy that because my parents are wary of online purchases. It dries your skin very quickly but moisturizing (I use Cerave) should do the trick. It made my face red the first week but that's to be expected at the beginning of the DK regimen. I use the full dose of BP at night and much less in the morning since I'm already clear (I had light acne before the regimen). If you can't get Dan's BP, definitely give this a try! |
