I have found this cleanser to work really well. While I can't say it severly inhibits my acne - it does leave my face fresh and oil free. I think it is a good defense against oil and acne build-up but requires other products in conjunction.

Made my skin burn, I know there is no alcohol in it, but its smelled like rubbing alcohol when it was on my face. I'm sure it works for people with obesely greasy skin. I have very oily skin and I found it way to drying. I would only recommend it to someone with intensly oily skin

Well i used this product for about 3 weeks.its not that bad but it doesnt really get rid of the acne.it also made my skin dry.

I am a huge fan of Neutrogena products. But this one did not do much good to my face. Made my skin really dry and parched and I still had zits. To be fair, the zits were smaller than what it would have been if I did not used this product but overall I was very much disappointed with this.

I am an acne sufferer of 15 years so I know what I'm talking about. Over-oily skin contributes to acne and this product helps control oily skin... But beware of overusing as it will cause skin to dry up which can also contribute to acne. I recommend alternating between this and a moisturizing cleanser to keep the balance. Use once or twice a day and do not wash your face more than 3 times in a day in total as over-washing is also bad for acne. If your acne is severe, look into natural approaches (diet, vitamin/herbal supplementation, etc.) and avoid Accutane as it is a very powerful and dangerous drugs and the side effects aren't worth it...

It doesn't work that well, and it leaves my skin really dry so I can't use it everyday.

this product was ok at controlling my acne but not really the best thing. i prefer using cuticura soap which i bought from bartell drugs. it has trichlosan or something and it works better while leaving my skin soft.
