Pros Doesn't make the face oily. Actually clears the face.
Cons Once in awhile I would get blemishes that weren't there to begin with.
Bottom line It's good for people with few acne, but it dries the face a lot. It does work, but may take more than two weeks to tell

Pros This pimple I had dried up very quickly, but of course, the rest of my skin followed.
Cons Leaves my skin VERY dry. I stopped using proactiv about a month ago just to see how this would work out. I'm back on proactiv now, but my skin type has completly changed. My skin looks good, but I need a lot more moisturizer than I used to need.
Bottom line I guess this is good for oily skin. Make sure you have a very good moisturizer if you're sure you want to buy this.

Pros It did reduce the darkness of my pores.
Cons It dried out my face so badly that my skin was pealing, and I was using a moisturizer.. Also, I couldn't get the bottle to open properly, I had to take the lid right off and pour it in my hand.
Bottom line It does clean your face, and somewhat clear you acne, but it dries your skin out alot.

Pros Works well if you have don't a severe acne problem. A few blemishes, maybe some whiteheads, etc. Those can be stopped.
Cons Leaves the face a bit dry. Most of the time you're going to need moisturizer.
Bottom line I have noticed recently, the acne wash smells different. It's as if they changed the formula. I'm still not sure if it is equally effective though. They did do a good job advertising with the commercial and you can find this product anywhere. Basically, this should work for most people. I'd compare with other products, but why stop a good thing? Especially when we're dealing with your appearance.

Pros Easy to find. May clear up some acne.
Cons Dries your skin and does not give you results instantly.
Bottom line If you have little tiny spots of acne then this should work fine but if you are waging a war with acne (like I am) this won't really help.

Pros Easy to use, fresh feeling, effective, zits become a lot less prominent/go away completely,
Cons leaves your skin a little dry but that's nothing a moisturizer can't fix
Bottom line I love this stuff! I've tried using other acne products for my zits, but those always left my face feeling goopy or parched and barely made an impact. The oil-free acne wash is the only thing that's actually been making a difference! My skin is visibly cleaner with so few blemishes. Plus it leaves my face feeling so nice and soft, it's great. Try this stuff out!

Pros gives you a fresh, tingly feeling; tightens pores
Cons dries out skin a bit; doesn't smell too good
Bottom line I just started using Neutrogena Oil Free Acne Wash, and I can already see an improvement in my skin. It dries out your skin a bit, so feel free to use oil-free moisturizer if you want. The smell isn't that good either. But all that matters is that it gets rid of your acne, which it does!
