| Cons | dryness itchyness cracking inflammation small blister like spots all over lower face and neck |
|---|---|
| Bottom line | 2 uses and my face was a mess - I am assuming this is an allergic reaction to something in this particular product. I have never reacted so poorly to any face soaps and am not allergic to any known foods or products. Other salicylic acid products have not bothered me, so I remain unsure of what particular ingredient caused this. Discontinued use immediately and after 4 days my face has still not recovered. |

| Pros | - Smell - Nice feeling after first use |
|---|---|
| Cons | - Dry skin |
| Bottom line | Do not use this product if your skin is not too oily. I regret the moment I used it. I can“t believe it doesnt advise you about it. My skin is so dry and flaky after 1 week I havent used it. I have to apply orchidea oil and aloe vera every single day, three or four times per day, as I feel that my skin splits. Normally, I like Neutrogena products. But this one is terrible!! And I bought it at a Pharmacy, recommended by them! |

| Pros | - Cheap - Nice smell |
|---|---|
| Cons | - Does NOT help acne - Dries out skin even after 1st use - Makes pimples appear inflamed - Caused a few pimples |
| Bottom line | I generally do not have sensitive skin, and I am not allergic to salicylic acid. But, I'm having a severe reaction because of this and I've read other reviews having similar problems. My eye lids are swollen and my whole face is EXTREMELY tight and inflamed. It's absolutely painful! I have to put layers of lotion on right now to just barely soothe it. Please, DO NOT buy this! I don't have sensitive skin and I never get irritation from products except this, so I think it could happen to anyone. |

| Pros | - smells pretty good - I like how it foams |
|---|---|
| Cons | - didn't do anything to my acne - I realized my face had grown more little pimples which I though was weird .. :/ |
| Bottom line | So , I only use this like when I go to my sisters place && it makes my face more pimply , which I hate . Also that's why I didn't pay for it , my friend has it . It also drys out my face a lot .. But I do like the smell and the gel . Overall , I do not recommend it ... |

| Pros | It smells good |
|---|---|
| Cons | Itches my face Leaves my face dry Irritates it Broke me out |
| Bottom line | I've been using this product for more than a year. At first it was wonderful, it smelled good made my blemishes go down. After a good amount of time it cleared my acne and I had one zit maybe every couple of weeks and it would go away fast. A couple months after I broke out terribly. I know it's stupid but I was kind of in denial about it and kept using the product. I had to wash my face only once a day because it would irritate it too bad. I'm currently using it and I don't know why. I guess I'm afraid of switching cleaners but don't even bother getting this. Currently I am broken out and it's been like this for a while. I don't get acne at all I think face soap would help more than this. Don't waste your money or your clear skin. |

| Pros | None (for me at least) |
|---|---|
| Cons | - Irritated my skin. - Made my skin feel tight. - Gave me blackheads on my nose! - Made my skin dull and rough! |
| Bottom line | I am very disappointed with this product... it did NOT work for me at all!!!!!! It just made my skin tight, dry and it never dried up my acne... I stuck with it for over a month and it just seemed like it did nothing for my face.. I believe it was because of the salicylic acid. I am probably allergic to that chemical.. OR my face is just not meant for that chemical. |

| Pros | Looks lovely and is easy to use |
|---|---|
| Cons | The following day I looked as if my face had been sandblasted and my eyes have puffed up. |
| Bottom line | I haven't got sensitive skin generally, so I'm really worried about whats in this product that caused such a huge reaction. Not happy. |

| Pros | Contains 2% salicylic acid and works great for my extremely oily non-sensitive skin. |
|---|---|
| Cons | May cause irritation if skin is not oily or are allergic to salicylic acid. |
| Bottom line | After reading the book "The Acne Cure" by Terry Dubrow, I came up with a routine that works great for my skin issues. Just to let everyone know though, I'm NOT allergic to salicylic acid, glycolic acid or benzoyl peroxide. Morning Routine: 1) Wash with Neutrogena oil free acne wash and let sit on skin for about 2-3 minutes, rinse and pat dry. 2) Apply Alphahydrox 10% glycolic oil free formula and leave on (don't rinse off). 3) Wait about 4 minutes and then apply Neutrogena oil free spf 15 lotion with DermaNaturals from the neutrogena acne kit. 4) Apply OC Eight to oily areas of face. Evening Routine: 1) Quickly and gently cleanse with Neutrogena skin polishing cleanser from the acne kit to remove the OC Eight and sunscreen. 2) Wash with oil free acne wash and leave on for 2-3 minutes, then rinse and pat dry. 3) Wait about 5 minutes and the apply the acne control lotion ( has 2.5% benzoyl peroxide) from the acne kit. For me this has really helped to even out my skin tone, clear pimples, blackheads, control oil for most of the day and reduced the redness that I always had. |

| Pros | Good Price |
|---|---|
| Bottom line | It is a Horrible Product in general, it does absolutley nothing for your acne. I stuck with it for 2 months and had zero results, there wasn't even the slightest bit of improvement, and my skin isn't even that bad to begin with! Don't waste your time or money on this proudct . |

| Pros | Worked for the first week Helped balance out my oily skin Felt nice on skin |
|---|---|
| Cons | Stopped working after the first week Made my light acne into moderately severe Still recovering from the reaction to it Smells a little odd but you get use to it Even though it dried up my face it also made my hands way too dry and cracky that I had to use lotion which I never had to do before. |
| Bottom line | The first week I used it, I thought it was great since it dried out my skin to the point where I wouldn't have to worry about having an oily looking face but after that it went downhill and made me breakout horribly. I wouldn't recommend this product since it made me break out so much that people were asking me what happened to my face. I gave it another chance a month or so later and had the same reaction. |
