i used this religiously for 3 months and was seeing some fading of red marks for the first month, but afterwards my skin got crazy dry and irritated. it is really absorbing, which is nice. i think this stuff will work on some people, just not on me. i seemed to get more pimples and irritation as time went on.

I have mild to moderate acne and very dry skin due to topical medication. I use this in the morning coupled with a sunscreen and I like it. I have tried many acne lotions and this is the one I have seen the best results with, it is absorbed into your skin (some products dry in a layer on top) and it is light and mild. It may not do anything for bad acne, but it keeps my acne at bay.

Used this stuff abt 5years ago when I was 18 and thought it was great. cant remember why I stopped using it, I think they changed the packaging or something. might give it a go again.

Hah! A so-called acne product. It only made mine worse. All that charts showing gradual improvement in weeks are pure hogwash. I stopped using it after seeing no improvement, in fact gradual worsening of my acne in 2 months.

I have been using this since high school. I never had acne in high school, but now at the age of 24, I am covered! My acne is a result of birth control...so the doctor is trying to take care of that one. I can't remember if I stopped using the lotion or what happened! Once my face got extremely bad this stuff wasn't working (or maybe I was getting frustrated and not giving it enough time). I found the Neutragena Acne Mark Fading Peel and have been using that along with this and it seems to be working a lot better than the benzoyl. It makes the redness and swelling go down. If you have mild acne you should see beautiful skin in two weeks if you are consistent (morning and night after gentle cleansing). I have also heard that using Salycic acid along with Benzoyl can actually aggrevate the skin...so watch out! Also, never mix Salycic Acid products with Differin gel! This product only contains 1.5% Saylcic Acid...products that contain at least 2% seem to work quicker but may cause irritation.

This is the worst product ever, after 5 weeks of using this product, i've noticed my acne getting worse, and it was like, no wonder this is so cheap. Cheap products = dirty products.

I am 33 years old & just developed moderate acne. This product is the only over the counter treatment that keeps the acne at bay and does not make my sensative skin dry and itchy. It is gentle enough to use both morning & night and I would highly recommend this for anyone developing acne later in life!!

I am 52 and have middle-aged acne rosesea. It was not an instant clear-up, but once this mild product had a chance to work over time, I have not suffered from break-outs since, about three years ago. It is mild enough to use daily on middle-aged skin and due to the salicyclic acid, it is a constant level of exfoliation that I believe has kept my fine lines at bay at a very affordable price. The small package travels well. :>D
