****I wrote this review for the non-spf, combination skin version of this lotion, and thought I'd share it here too.*****
This lotion works great for my face. It's gentle as water, moisturising but not oily, and leaves skin smooth and matte. I've used it for years, and I bought the spf version when I started the Clear Skin Regimen a little over a month ago. I do like the Neutrogena spf lotion that Dan recommends, but unless I'm going to be out in the sun a lot I'll stick to this one. I feel like my skin just drinks it right in, and I've found the spf one to be a little thicker and a hair greasier by the end of the day.
My skin was a total mess of flakes the first couple weeks of the regimen, and applying the lotion after the bp would sting like hell for about five minutes. I cannot stress this enough: THIS LOTION IS EXTREMELY LIGHT AND GENTLE. Don't get discouraged by the stinging, any lotion will do that as your skin gets used to the bp, or if your skin is already irritated.
Stick with it, really. Since week three, after my skin was used to the regimen, I've been flake free and oil free all day. My complexion is MUCH better, and I've traded in the foundation I used to need to wear for some concealer (occasionally loose powder, to have a more "finished" look). This lotion is HIGHLY recommended from me, especially for use with the regimen.

I wouldn't get this again. It moisturizes, but it didn't do anything else I thought it would. First of all, it actually really does sting. I'd get it close to my eyes and it would sting for a very long time; it even made me late to work once because I couldn't even see right. Despite the fact that it's oil free, it seemed really greasey to me and made my face look oily. After readin other comments on here, one about getting cystic pimples, I realize that has happened to me too. I really hope it's because of the lotion because they appeared around the same time i started using it. I'm not saying it did, because I'm still unsure, but it's peculiar that I never get cystic pimples anymore until this month that I switched lotions.
