I'm not doing the Regimen, so cant comment in relation to that, but i found this formula made my skin breakout. I had previously been using, and have since returned to the Combination Skin oil free formula, which is much lighter, and silkier-i cant get enough of it!The SPF version was thicker, and oile, and didn sink into my skin like the Combo skin formula.

****I wrote this review for the non-spf, combination skin version of this lotion, and thought I'd share it here too.*****

This lotion works great for my face. It's gentle as water, moisturising but not oily, and leaves skin smooth and matte. I've used it for years, and I bought the spf version when I started the Clear Skin Regimen a little over a month ago. I do like the Neutrogena spf lotion that Dan recommends, but unless I'm going to be out in the sun a lot I'll stick to this one. I feel like my skin just drinks it right in, and I've found the spf one to be a little thicker and a hair greasier by the end of the day.

My skin was a total mess of flakes the first couple weeks of the regimen, and applying the lotion after the bp would sting like hell for about five minutes. I cannot stress this enough: THIS LOTION IS EXTREMELY LIGHT AND GENTLE. Don't get discouraged by the stinging, any lotion will do that as your skin gets used to the bp, or if your skin is already irritated.

Stick with it, really. Since week three, after my skin was used to the regimen, I've been flake free and oil free all day. My complexion is MUCH better, and I've traded in the foundation I used to need to wear for some concealer (occasionally loose powder, to have a more "finished" look). This lotion is HIGHLY recommended from me, especially for use with the regimen.

I use the oil-free (non-spf) version and it works great. Very light burning when first applied but moisturizes great without being too greasy or causing break-outs. Great product for the price.

I did not really like this. After applying it to my face, it began to burn badly, and my face felt slick and oily. I'd recomend Aveeno Ultra Calming moisturizer. It has a better scent and is soothing on my face.

I use the Neutrogenia oil-free combination skin formula. It leaves your skin smooth and matte, not greasy like this formula. Try it if you have oily skin like I do. You'll really like the way your skin feels. It doesn't feel heavy like this one.

Doesn't burn my skin. It goes on easy, but it does make me feel a little greasy. I just use some brown paper towels to dab away the excess, so I'll look matte again. I think I had some initial discomfort, but really it's so miniscule that it doesn't really matter. It moisturizes very well. I used this to heal my skin after being burned by some harsh exfoliating cleansers (cough...Got2B...cough). IMO, this is great!

I enjoy this lotion for daytime use. I use Dove, for sensitive skin at night.

I should have read everyone's comment before I read... this product really does sting! Although it's not extremely painful, it is quite uncomfortable and I will definitely buy another moisturizer once this one runs out. I also had flaky skin other than my t-zone (forehead) and really doesn't moisturize that great. I might've started with too much bp gel, but one time I put ZERO bp gel on my face and then applied moisturizer and it still stinged.

Not really happy with this mediocore product.

The first and only moisturizer i have used in my life, started using it along with the regimen from day one. and i hafta say it made all the side effects i was afraid of less noticable. my skin is naturally normal to oily, but the BP made it extreemly dry, and this moisturizer dealt perfectly with that. it does sting a bit when you apply it, it has that sunscreen smell and consistancy, but it leaves my skin well hydrated and normal looking. no connection to my breakouts noticed. maybe it's not the best one out there, but i'm definately gonna stick with it for a long time.

I wouldn't get this again. It moisturizes, but it didn't do anything else I thought it would. First of all, it actually really does sting. I'd get it close to my eyes and it would sting for a very long time; it even made me late to work once because I couldn't even see right. Despite the fact that it's oil free, it seemed really greasey to me and made my face look oily. After readin other comments on here, one about getting cystic pimples, I realize that has happened to me too. I really hope it's because of the lotion because they appeared around the same time i started using it. I'm not saying it did, because I'm still unsure, but it's peculiar that I never get cystic pimples anymore until this month that I switched lotions.
