I haven't been using it very long but first impressions are that it makes my skin nice and soft. Unfortunately it also makes my skin a little oily, and I need to pat at my face with a tissue afterward so I'm not shiny. But the odor is minimal and it's easy to apply, doesn't clump with the BP.

I did find that there was some burning in the first few days of use, just after I applied the moisturizer, particularly around the eye area. This burning sensation did stop after a few days though. Guess my skin just got used to the ingredients. I do think that the SPF factor does contribute to the burning and the "whitish" application as someone had mentioned, but if you are experiencing white streaking, I would suggest making sure that you are taking the time to gently and completely rub the BP into your face, before applying moisturizer.

This moisturizer has been in my daily skincare regimen for 4 years but I recently switched. The reason? My face is way too oily when I use this. I just recently realized how shiny it makes me when looking at some old photos! Well, I switched to the Combination Skin formula and it works perfectly! My skin is now matte-finished and I love it! The SPF15 version is good but beware the shine factor!!

I tried both the Purpose and Cetaphil moisturizers and was very disappointed. The Purpose balled up and the Cetaphil stung. I have very oily skin and these made me feel like I had not washed my face in days. I tried the Neutrogena oil free non spf and this is perfect for oily skin. The Cetaphil cleanser with this lotion is the best combo!!!!

Overall i think its a good moisturiser, but it does leave my face with a sort of 'white tinge' , like the colour your skin goes when you're wearing sunscreen..

I have been using this lotion now for 4weeks. The first two weeks my skin was extremely dry after starting Dan's regimen. I started using more of the lotion about 8pumps(alot!). My skin is not dry and flaky anymore after applying that much lotion but it is still itchy, especially on my neck where I don't even apply the BP but it still gets very dry there, only after starting the regimen(don't know why). I'm glad my skin is not flaking anymore but it takes lots of this lotion for that too happen and I HATE the mild itching.

I've recently purchased Netrogena Oil Free Moisterizer with SPF 15 in it....and i so many mixed thoughts about it , it's not even funny.

First off i thought it worked well and such , now i'm getting weird acne in places i've never gotten it before...

I can't really pin point if this is causing it , but let everyone know this stuff is oily as hell , one pump can cover your whole face and it's lighter than a feather , it's pretty much a horrible moisterzer for going out and about , because i could spot you with this stuff on from a good 15 ft away easily , but if you're staying at home and not doing anything then i guess this is an okay moisterzer , me i'm going to be looking into Eucerin something , because i cannot to this second find anything bad with it.

I'm not doing the Regimen, so cant comment in relation to that, but i found this formula made my skin breakout. I had previously been using, and have since returned to the Combination Skin oil free formula, which is much lighter, and silkier-i cant get enough of it!The SPF version was thicker, and oile, and didn sink into my skin like the Combo skin formula.

****I wrote this review for the non-spf, combination skin version of this lotion, and thought I'd share it here too.*****

This lotion works great for my face. It's gentle as water, moisturising but not oily, and leaves skin smooth and matte. I've used it for years, and I bought the spf version when I started the Clear Skin Regimen a little over a month ago. I do like the Neutrogena spf lotion that Dan recommends, but unless I'm going to be out in the sun a lot I'll stick to this one. I feel like my skin just drinks it right in, and I've found the spf one to be a little thicker and a hair greasier by the end of the day.

My skin was a total mess of flakes the first couple weeks of the regimen, and applying the lotion after the bp would sting like hell for about five minutes. I cannot stress this enough: THIS LOTION IS EXTREMELY LIGHT AND GENTLE. Don't get discouraged by the stinging, any lotion will do that as your skin gets used to the bp, or if your skin is already irritated.

Stick with it, really. Since week three, after my skin was used to the regimen, I've been flake free and oil free all day. My complexion is MUCH better, and I've traded in the foundation I used to need to wear for some concealer (occasionally loose powder, to have a more "finished" look). This lotion is HIGHLY recommended from me, especially for use with the regimen.
