Pros: I have been using this product for over five years. I'm 61 and my skin looks much younger. Everyone asks me what I use. I use it for day under my make up and at night, because my face is dry. It also keeps my face from breaking out. Cons: The sting. Bottom Line: Since I've been using this product successfully for over 5 years, I will keep using it. Pros: It provides a nice base for make-up--make-up goes on smoothly and evenly over it. Cons: Itches like crazy when I first put it on! Bottom Line: I haven't decided yet if the itching is worth it but it sounds like that is not uncommon with this product. I have rosacea really bad so maybe it is helping the redness and that is why my make-up looks better. I didn't realize when I bought it that this would be an advantage but in reading the postings, it sounds like the product helps with redness so I will continue to use it with this in mind and see if it helps. Pros: Evens out skin tone Helps with red marks Cons: very slow for the red marks.. face feels/looks greasy Bottom Line: It helped to even out my skin tone within a couple of weeks (especially for the slight redness i had in the t-zone area). Skin colouring now looks pretty even all around. It's taking a long time with the red marks, but I think there's been a SLIGHT improvement.. I use this every night after I cleanse & tone, & I have stopped breaking out - my cleanser & toner have been the same for months & months, so I THINK this moisturizer plays a big part in this! I can't wear this during the day, or whenever I'm going out, because it leaves my skin looking/feel SUPER greasy. Sort of feels like sunblock. It's something I definitely can't wear under make-up (i've tried!) Bottom line.....get it. I'm still waiting to see if the red marks will go away, but it's evened out my skin tone & my whole face just feels so much SMOOTHER. also... a lot of people complain about the smell, but i don't think it's bad lol.. Pros: moisturizes well, fades red spots, helps acne Cons: can sting a little when you first use and turns skin red in the beginning. Also it is kind of oily. Bottom Line: takes a little getting used to but does work. all i have to do now is wash my face with water, shave, and use this and it keeps my acne down pretty well Recommended: Yes Usage: John has used this item for a few weeks. Pros: It really does fade red marks. Evens out skin tone, dries out little pimples...but its really not an "acne treatment" more of a red mark treatment Cons: a little stinging, smells kinda funny Bottom Line: Don't use during the day!! its shiny and more of a night time moisturizer This isnt an overnight thing. no porduct is, but if you use it every night you'll start to see its really evening out your skin tone. I think it's best not to spot treat but put a thin layer all over your face and maybe add a tiny extra to your spots i was spot treating and it was too harsh. the whole point is to make all the scars/marks even with the rest of your face so put on a light layer over the entire face! I am using purpose cleanser (best ever!) and honey and asprin mask every one in a while if i get pimples and this at night. its working really well! oh and drink lots of water to keep inflamation down and give your skin a glow! Pros: smells good, clears up red spots from old blemishes, makes skin really soft, doesn't make skin oily. Cons: stings for a few minutes, especially when it's used on skin that's dry from BP. Bottom Line: i love this lotion. i've only been on the regimen for 5 days and my moderate acne is already cleared up. i still have a few spots, but this lotion takes care of them faster than anything else i've tried. if you can handle the sting (and sometimes redness) that goes away after a little while, you will like this lotion. Pros: It keeps my skin clearer and helps fade red marks. The bottle lasts for about two months using it morning and night. Helps remove dead skin which can cause acne. Cons: It burned until my skin got used to it. This only lasted about a week. Sometimes I think this makes my face look reddish for about an hour after washing my face, but that could also be irritation from warm water or bp. Bottom Line: I discovered this product by accident when my dad picked it up from the store. I noticed my skin was better while I was using it, so I've continued ever since. I've been using it for four years! I think that if your skin needs extra help getting dead skin cells off, this is the way to go! Help in fading red marks is never a bad thing either. Pros: Helped get rid of dark spots from previous breakouts. Moisturizes pretty well. Cons: Makes your pores look larger. Doesn't do much for existing acne. Bottom Line: If your acne has cleared up (by means of like pills or something NOT put on your face) and you have left over ugly dark spots, then I recommend this. I only get horrible zits on the middle 2.5 inches on my forehead (very strange) and they had cleared up from using the purpose skin care line. I used this to help get rid of my scars but it brought some zits back. So if you still have active acne, then don't use it. I live in the desert and have very dry skin and it made me look somewhat shiny. I don't have a problem with that but if you already have a oily face then you are going to be very reflective. BUT if you have extremely dry skin, then by all means use this, it is extremely moisturizing and doesn't sting on those dry places. FOR ANY PERSON WITH SKIN: Olay Complete Defense Daily UV Moisturizer SPF 30, the best moisturizer ever; hands down.You should be using a moisturizer with SPF everyday, obviously.
