This product is perfect with people with very sensitive skin. True, it doesn't produce much of a lather and feels very lotiony, but it does not contain any fragrances or detergents that can irritate and dry out the most sensitive of skin. I'm a guy so I can't really say anything about how well it removes makeup, but keep in mind that you don't need a foamy cleanser to clean your skin. In fact, a very foamy cleanser may make your skin dryer due to the detergents that are used to make it that way.

Definitely the most agreeable cleanser I've used, and works well for guys (doesn't smell or come in feminine packaging). Adds back moisture, just like it says.

I was using this product 2 yrs ago, never had any problems, but heard about pro active and thought i would give that a go. After a year using proactive my skin was so dry and i felt like i had aged, so went back to the trusty extra gentle cleanser, my skin has never been so good. I highly recommend this for sensitive skin, and for the nights i wear makeup i use the foam cleanser.

Great product for me as a guy. Been using it since 2004. It was weird at first because it is more like washing your face with lotion than cleanser, but now it's the best I've ever used.

But it was out at Target... =/ Hope it's not discontinued, but I will say this is a great cleanser for guys.

I never liked using this cleanser because it didn't lather at all (even though I know the lather just comes from chemicals, still, it's hard to feel like it's working without it) and it felt more like putting lotion on my face than actual cleanser. I have dry skin and a product like this should be great for me, but I never felt clean after using it. Plus there'd always be makeup left on my face that I'd have to take off with toner.

Strange product; not much of a cleanser. It doesn't lather, which I've read is not "necessary" for a cleanser to be effective, but I prefer a few suds. What concerned me is that it didn't remove any of my makeup. I followed the cleanser with astringent, and the cotton was FULL of make up--it took three cotton balls to remove the makeup, and by then my skin was irritated from the scrubbing. It was as if I hadn't washed my face at all. Very disappointing (and expensive, for what it is). I've had decent results with the Murad cleanser, just DON'T use any of their other acne products--they destroyed my skin. But for some reason, their face wash and skin perfecting lotion were ok on ME.

I have oily skin on my for-head,nose and to the left and right of my nose, I have small black heads and this does not help nor does the astrigent. I am now going to change to Exposed or Poractive.

I'm not understanding how this is supposed to be a cleanser. It really seems like they stuck in 50% cleanser with 50% lotion. It doesn't really get your skin clean, and just adds to the build up. My black heads got bigger and so did my pores. I might as well have not washed my face at all...
