It seem this isn't for evryone. I had 3 initial treatments that worked well (you do have to wait until after the third treatment to see substantial improvement), but, judging by the other comments, this isn't always the case. My acne did worsen again, however, after about 9 months, so I am now back having more treatment (at great expense). It is neither quick nor cheap and there are no guarentees...but it will work for some people. So, worth a try if you can afford it.

I have had nlight in london's private clinic, they told me it would get worse before better, but still need to wait 4wks to start seeing real results. Personally i feel my acne has reduced, not gone but is better, At £150 per session it is not cheap. I have found however friends and relatives have noticed an improvement. Also I was told it is only suitable for P acne, not cystic nodules. So i would say give it a go or two, if you dont get a result at least you'll know you tried.

I have booked myself an Nlite treatment for moderate cystic acne on my face ..I am now getting a bit scared because of reading everyones stories particularly the ones that made the acne worse!!!:( I was interested if anyone also had a glycolic peel beforehand (as I have been recommended to)...Ive also bought (or been persuaded to) buy a few expensive glycolic MD products as apparently this makes the Nlite work much better!! Hmmmm so the Q is am I just getting ripped off??? Any comments would be great!

GGGRRRR ACNE is a CURSE!!!!

I had 2 N-lite treatments in June 2004. After my first treatment, I broke out right away, though it cleared up quicker than a normal breakout. My second treatment didn'tproduce any results positive or negative. I paid $1200 USD for 3 treatments, and I bailed on the last treatment altogether (bye bye $400), due to fear of breaking out worse. The results were so negligible (sp?), I can't even be sure if anything at all was attributed to the Nlite. Totally painless though, in case you were curious. Waste of money in my opinion.

I'm not quite sure if it works. One side is smoothing out after 2 treatments, but the other side of my face is getting worse. I have 1 more treatment to go.

I used to get very big spots/cysts around my mouth and nose, after one n lite treatment i havent really got any large spots, i am still getting spots (painfull ones too) so i am going to try another treatment, i did notice that i have got more blackheads, hopefully my next session will get rid of these and my acne. 8 years of suffering from acne has really got to me so fingers crossed the N lite will work for me.

I also use their recommended face wash and toner which doesnt seem to dry my skin out, it dries the bank balance out though :(

My parents spent around $9000.00 on my acne. I've tried N- Lite, Photo Rejuve, chemical peels, birth control pills and various antibiotics. The greatest luck was from the accutane I'm currently using. I have two more weeks to go. I was afraid to try it and am now sorry I didn't start sooner. I would probably have less scars. I can only hope my results last. I've been advised to start N-Lite and Photo Rejuve again to stimulate collegen but don't quite believe its works.
