I went on a course of accutane, which i bought on the net, it cleared all my acne, although i was left with some scars and lots of red marks. I am on my second treatment out of 6 for n lite. Advanced laser clinic, the lady is great, its expensive, but for what i have its working. Antibiotis and all the gimmics on the net i tried, only made things worse, this is improving things finally, i will report after my 6th treatment.

I'm setting the ratings in the middle as it's only been 4 days since my third and final treatment, so I can't say whether it works or not. Yes, they do tell you it will get worse before it gets better, and yes I'm experiencing that right now, as have many other people on this board. I would like to think that there are fewer positive posts up here from people about nlite because if your acne goes away, you're less likely to visit an acne discussion board! I know it's frustrating and unfair that you may be having breakouts when you've spent a lot of money on a treatment expected things to get better, but nothing about acne is fair is it? Surely it beats taking medication like Roaccutane that is so severe you have to have blood tests to make sure your liver is OK! And remember, Roaccutane 'aint cheap either. Keep positive.

I have had two treatments of nlite and my acne has gone down a lot. the scars are also fading over time. I think you just need to be pateint my skin did get worse about a week after, but then got much better after the breakout (due to the nlite). Remember people.. your diet is a lot to do with your skin. I have recently cut out all dairy products and i belive this will help loads (as i noticed i am allergic to dairy in other ways other than my skin like feeling sick and causes mucus in my throat)

have been to the private clinic and talked to a woman called jean about n.lite. didnt feel too confident when i left as didn't really trust her and all seemed a bit of a act. have been on every antibiotic there is, only one that worked is roaccutane which is a very strong antibiotic with a lot of side effects but cleared it up and made me a lot happier for a year...but then it came back and hasnt worked as well so now looking at n.lite treatment...anyone tried any herbal medicine as this is the only thing left for me to try!

someone close to me had this treatment done and i would not reccomend it if it was free. it is ridiculously expensive and its not that it was ineffective, that wouldnt have bothered me but its that it actually made the acne 10 times WORSE! this person is very close to me and is now severely depressed as a result, it disgusts me that they can put a treatment like that on the market.

I was thinking of travelling down to London to have the Nlite treatment, but now im not so sure! I don't like the thought of it getting worse! I tried antibiotics, creams and nothing seems to work! Thats why im desperate to get rid of it! But im not sure I can risk spending all that money and it not working or even worse, the acne gets worse! Im spilt on what im going to do.

I used NLite and today I am having my sixth treatment. It has worked for me; my acne is almost completely gone and the scars have faded a lot. I had my first treatment in January. I think it is important to supplement Nlite treatment with a topical prescription like Retin-A or Azalex (this is what I am using). I also started drinking more water (I aim to drink about a gallon a day).

Before using NLite I tried a "detox program" where you eat only fresh fruits and vegetables and drink plenty of water for a weekend and I saw a dramatic decrease in breakouts. I lacked the dicipline to continue but it really worked for me; I plan to do it once a month once I finish with my treatments. If you would like more info, feel free to email me at [email address removed].

Hope this info helps!

I paid over 200 pounds for the N-Lite treatment and it didn't work for me at all. My skin didn't get worse but it didn't get better. Personally, it was just a waste of money. I believe it does work for some people but I am just not one of them!
