I tried the cleanser and half my face peeled off. I live by the moisturizing acne gel but every product barely qualifies as mediocre. The spot treatment is decent but does not live up to the claims. I stick to Proactiv which is much gentler on my skin. I don't have flawless skin but much better than I did on the Murad regimen.

WOW! This product really really SUCKS! It is amazing how much WORSE this junk made my skin feel.

I went through 2 months of CRAP with this product, and now I am going to try Dan's regimen. Thank god they have a refund, but I'm still pissed my face looks like 2 year's worth of acne.

The first four weeks is pimple city. They tell you that. And be prepared to have about 2 years worth of acne on one face. I think I counted like 15 HUGE whiteheads along with the other small white/pale bumps on my face. I even got acne on my forehead; never had a single pimple in over 8 years on my forehead!

After the month, I THOUGHT it had cleared. I started to see maybe SOME indication of this working. Boy, was I wrong! The so called "purging" process [censored] came back and I was seeing more acne than ever before.

If Dr. Murad was right here in front of me right now, I would severly kick his ass and maybe pop a couple 9's in his ass for making a product that DOESN'T heal acne, but produce it!!

Like the people before me, I would SEVERLY consider NOT buying this product. It has given me MORE acne than when I started, not to mention it costs alot (taken care of by refund).

THIS IS A SCAM! DON'T BUY! IT WILL GIVE YOU MORE ACNE THAN BEFORE...

My whole cheeks are full with pimples now! And it creats a burning sensation on your face when you apply, which is not cool! Don't try it! and it's mad expensive too!

I tried this product for three months, used as directed. However, I saw no results better than the cheap Oxy products I was using prior. It burned my skin, had a horrible odor (contains 3% sulfur), and felt sticky (like syrup) for the remainder of the day. On the back of the products, they recommend additional products for optimal results, and then those recommend even more additonal products for optimal results. I realized what was going on after I bought two additional proudcts without any more luck than before (body wash & clay mask). Each 'additional' product averages $30/ea. This product simply is not worth more than the $4.95 products at the supermarket. Save your money.

I used Murad for a couple years and decided to try Proactiv b/c Murad is more expensive and I had an occasional breakout. Proactiv was TERRIBLE and I'm back on Murad - much gentler on your skin and not as drying. The Mask clears up pimples in a couple days -so great. Packaging was recently improved (used to spill everywhere)but that was the only thing I prefered about Proactiv.

I am an avid user of Proactiv, which worked for me but I was drawn to Murad by the TV ad. It is a terrible product that irritated my skin and cause cystic acne. I regret the use of this product. I am sure it will work for others but I would try Proactiv first. The negatives of Murad is there are too many products. All very tempting in their catalog but overuse can irritate your skin.
