Cons: Never stop breaking out! Bottom Line: I've used Murad for about a week now, and its gotten worsee! I've havent stoped breaking out and before I used this product my skin was in so much better conditions. I regret buying it.Total waste of money. I used Proactive a long time ago, and my skin was really good. I had no breakouts or anything. Im gonna go back to proactive because it has worked for me. Pros: worked in the beginning. Cleanser feels good. Doesnt over dry skin. Cons: Made sides of my face breakout. Made acne form under the skin and didnt get rid of blackheads. Bottom Line: I recommend only using the cleanser. I have had great success with just it. I also recommend drinking lots of water, using a honey mask, and also using the egg white mask. Pros: smells nice... makes skin feel clean and helped breakouts minimally Cons: costs too much and isnt as effective as it claims. another proactiv without the exfoliation in the soap. Bottom Line: unless you have light acne thats mainly caused by bacteria and or inconsistent washing routine.. ITS NOT WORTH IT!!! Pros: it works! Cons: can be a bit drying when used togeter. Bottom Line: Best thing I have ever used on my acne prone skin. I only use the cleanser and body scrub. Pros: ? Cons: Probably the most disgusting combination of things I have put on my face. Its already bad enough to have acne, but once you put on all the creams your face feels greasy and uncomfortable. Super expensive, and too many things to apply Bottom Line: I would probably stay away from this as although I didn't use it for more than a week, no matter how bad my skin was I wouldn't feel comfortable with it on my face. Pros: It smells good, the cleanser works good and doesn't scrub your face like proactiv. Cons: IT MAKES YOUR FACE BREAKOUT REALLY BAD. WHITEHEADS EVERYWHERE! Bottom Line: BOTTOM LINE IS DONT USE THIS PRODUCT UNLESS YOU CAN WITHSTAND A COUPLE OF WEEKS OF BAD BREAKOUTS. I USED PROACTIV FOR AROUND A YEAR AND I HAD MY ACNE UNDER CONTROL. I STILL BROKE OUT LIKE 1-3 PIMPLES A WEEK OR SO BUT SINCE USING MURAD I GOT 5 PIMPLES A DAY FOR A WEEK. I CAN SEE MORE DEVELOPING SO I AM DONE WITH THIS STUFF. WARNING!!! DO NOT USE THIS STUFF!!! Pros: it smells nice, cleared up my acne, works on body acne Cons: if you use the skin perfecting lotion, it makes acne worse. Bottom Line: Of course my skin had purged after a few weeks of using but every once in a while i would forget to use the lotion and it worked so much better. I had pretty bad back acne, as well, it Murad helped that clear up a lot. =] if it dries out your skin, find your own moisturizer, because Murad's makes you break out terribly. Pros: nonee Cons: it was expensive, and a complete waste of money. it made ace WORSE than ever Bottom Line: i have been using this product for about 2 weeks. Before my face had normal acne, but now after using it, it seems my acne has gotten so HORRIBLY wrong. im breaking out in places i have never even broke out in. its worthless. the lady at sephora said she used proactiv n it didnt work for her so she moved on to this product. i was in the same situation as her so like the gullable idiot i am, i bought it. i have so many white heads ALL OVER its depressing. i also thought it was the purging proces but after reading these reviews. im am going to discontiue this process. its lamee. Pros: like the cleanser makes your skin feel tight and really clean, the other stuff is waste i think Cons: you dont stop breaking out.. the commercials are flat our deceiving Bottom Line: i was excited when i got it, and i started using it and saw results in a week or so, but after around 2 weeks it just gets worse..im now probably in my 7th week or so, and i am going to quit using it..it just made my face worse. they also shipped me another kit that i wasnt aware of..so i got charged again basically a huge lie of murad..i hope someone sues them and get screwed over Recommended: No Usage: Reviewer has used this item for about a month. Pros: skin felt clean, didn't dry out my skin as much as I thought it might Cons: medicinal smell, not effective in keeping new acne from forming, just plain disappointing Bottom Line: this is yet another acne kit promising clear skin, yet it simply did NOT work. I was excited about it initially since my skin was starting to improve after only a few days of use. after that though, I started getting really red, inflamed pimples in places where I ordinarily never break out (the side of my nose, under my eyebrow?!). and this wasn't just a "purging" process like Murad claims, because believe me, I was being patient with it and it only continued to ruin my skin. I am currently using Cetaphil cleanser, St. Ives Apricot Scrub and oil-free moisturizer and have gotten better results after only 3 days than I ever got with weeks of using Murad's Acne Complex.
