| Bottom line | Long story short, I suffered from chronic cystic acne on my cheeks & jawline & was deperate for a solution. As they always say, "this may not work for everyone" but there is no harm in trying cause at the worst point of my breakouts, I had nothing to lose but seek for other options. When I got my first kit, I followed the directions & I honestly did break out a little more during the first 2 weeks. But those blemishes were smaller & dried up within 2-3 days. One thing I've learned is that only use the Salicylic acid gel(step 2) on the affected areas & in VERY small amounts cause the face wash already contains 1.5 Sal/acid. Same with the sulfur spot treatment. Literally just use a dot right over the pimple & not around it. The moisturizer balances it all. Use lots of it, especially at night so that your skin can rest & heal itself. If you must use any make up, I suggest BARE MINERALS & just take it off with regular baby oil. My face is finally clearing up. BE PATIENT & Goodluck! |

| Cons | There many cons with this product. After several months finishing accutane my acne started to come back, but not as bad as before. SO i went back with proactiv & and I saw murad so i gave it a try. tried if for 2 weeks and i noticed a huge worsening. |
| Bottom line | I also called murad and they told me im just going through the purging process, but i started to get these small like pimples i was even sure if they were even pimples but my skin was very sensitive and pink and it kinda made my skin a bit oily. the downer with this product is that it comes with a lot of steps and i just feel like it was too much for my skin. Also, if u buy there products individually it is very expensive. i even went to there office with an aesthetician and i got a facial and that was pretty nice let me tell u, her advice was to work on my diet which i was already skinny myself. 5'11 135 pounds. yea i know. anyways the facial felt really good but it was too expensive. all she did was remove some of the pimples and blackheads and she jes made me lay down and relax half the time so it wasnt even worth it. anyways jes try it maybe it'll work for ur skin but mine didnt from that point on i jes went down hill. now im using accutane and it is a lot better. |

| Bottom line | K well like so many of you in here....i wish i would have done my research and come across this forum before purchasing this product!! Since day one, this product ruined my face. The first day i used it my face was burning like crazy and i dont think it was because of the "purging" process..it was because it was my face telling me to get this product out of my face. The next day only to my horror did i wake up with my face full of blemishes and around my chin and jawbone i had a lot of ugly bumps and full of puss and just looked inflamed and didnt look normal. I gave it a chance and the next week my face just got worse and everyone was making comments saying that what was wrong with my face? so i went to the doctor and he said that i have to stop using it and murad is one of the worst things i could put on my face. He had to prescribe me medication for the infection and thank god is working!! Dont waste your money and if u dont believe me ask your local doctor about it. |

| Pros | I used Proactiv for a long time and it just wasn't a miracle like most were saying so I got restless and used Murad due to it's natural philosophies. I've been using it for a while and it's more gentle and calming. |

| Cons | I'm not CLEAR. I understood that my skin would PURGE before it got better. After a month and a half I called them and asked how long I should expect this. They said it could last up to 2 months. I just feel there's something better. |

| Bottom line | This is the worst product I have ever used, and I wish I had read some of these reviews before buying it. I also, like many of you, experienced tiny red bumps all over my face. It is burning and itching with red blotchy spots. I usually have oily skin and now it's extremely dry and itchy. I had to buy Eucerin sensitive skin/rosacea lotion this morning to help calm my skin. This is the worst product I've ever used, and I only used it for 2 days! I'm taking it back to the store tomorrow and getting my money back! |

| Bottom line | this is a great product. what i do is when i feel it's not working i won't do 1 application. but i do suffer from light acne, like before i started using this product i had maybe 13 pimples over my face. i also use the mask once a month (because i really have no dry skin, thanks to the "skin perfecting lotion")lol. |
